What Ava said tonight really has me shook up. I knew deep inside she was telling the truth. I've always wondered why we were so wealthy. My dad is doing more then just opening up damn stores. My father always walked around with a body guard. If you just own a few stores, why would you need not one body guard, but two. This shit really didn't add up to me. I sat in the garage trying to keep myself calm before I went inside the house because my dad had a way with reading my facial expressions. If my father is as dangerous as Ava made it seemed, then I wouldn't put it past him to hurt me or my mom. Come to think about it, I know for sure he would definitely hurt us.
I remember when I was about five, my mother had come home late from having a few drinks with my Aunt. My dad had been waiting up all night for her to come home. I sat waiting with him as he tossed down shots after shots of alcohol.
Finally the garage door opened. My father told me to go to bed but I didn't, instead I stood over the banister watching everything that happened. My mom entered through the side door. She looked so beautiful and I could tell that she really enjoyed her night out. Knowing that made me smile. Suddenly my smile quickly faded away turning into terror when my father grabbed her by her throat. I didn't move because I was afraid. Tears rolled down my face as I watched clutching onto the bars that held the stair case. My mom tried to fight back but she couldn't. His two hundred and ten pounds over powered her. Finally he let go and she fell to the wooden floor gasping for air. I ran down stairs soon as my father left the room.

"It's going to be ok mommy. I said as I hugged her tight. "I'll protect you.
"I'm ok son, she stood up to wipe the tears from her face, looking at me she said, "Zeus I don't ever want you to have to worry about me." Mommy and dad just had a little disagreement. "Now let's go to bed". She kissed me on my forehead and walked me to my room. She tucked me in my little bed, and read me bed time story. Soon after I was sound asleep.

After gathering my thoughts together I finally decided to go inside the house. I grabbed a bottle of water from the refrigerator and headed for my room. On my way down the hall I decided to check in on my mom. As usual she was sound asleep with the tv still on. I walked in to turn her tv off.
"Leave my tv alone Zoosky"! She shouted scaring the life out of me.
"Ok mom, I replied laughingly.
Before leaving out of her room I walked over to the bed and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"Love you mommy". I said smiling.
"Love you to"...."now get out of my room."
"Alright, Alright I'm going". I hurried out of her room then went to bed.

The next morning I woke up with a mission. "Keep the people that care about me safe". Is what I thought to myself. I had a plan to end all of this. I grabbed my laptop off of my nightstand , set it on my lap and went to work.

"Welcome to Spy Base"! The nerdy looking guy yelled out as I entered the shop.
"Is there anything I can help you with today.?" "We have our new Nanny Cams and our new Flash Drive audio detector."

I walked around the store looking at all of the surveillance stuff and what shocked me the most was when I saw a teddy bear with a hidden camera in the eye. I picked the bear up to inspect it.

"Damn they put cameras into bears to!" I let out a sight as I shuck my head side to side.
As I turned around to head to the other side of the shop I was greeted face to face by the nerdy guy.
"You sure you don't need any assistance"? He said with a big smile. He reminded me of the guy from the movie Napoleon Dynamite.
"Nawl I'm good man, just looking right now." I replied as I brushed past him.

As I walked around the store, a light bulb went off in my head. I knew exactly what I was going to do.
"Aye yo my man". I called out to the nerdy kid.

"So you do need my assistance. He said with the most annoying smile on his pale face.
"Yeah, whatever". "Didn't you say something about a Flash Drive something Detector?" I said cutting to the chase.
"Ohhh, the Audio Detector, yes this is actually a great device. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a set of keys. "So this device is made just like a Flash Drive as you can see, but if you look really close you'll see that there's a little speaker on it".

He swiftly lifted the device closer to my face which caused me to back up because he was just a little too happy.

"Oh word, I replied. I took the device out of his hand to observe it. "So what does it do exactly?" I questioned.

"Well this here device is not only a flash drive but, a recorder as well. "

I looked at him with a devious smile. "A recorder". "You don't say"!

" Yeah I know its pretty cool isn't it." He took the flash drive out of my hand and clipped back on his key chain.

I wonder why he has this, I thought to myself.

"So you want to buy it"? He asked smiling from ear to ear.

"Hell yeah, I want to buy it". I bought the recorder ,smiling deviously as I made my way out the shop door. I couldn't wait to put my plan into action.
