Ava...

"Girl its hot as hell out here. Katrina said as she used the sheet of paper in her hand to fan herself.

"You aint never lied. I replied with my face screwed up.

"Did you see what happen to Stacy today at lunch girl?" Katrina asked stopping right in her tracks.

"No, I didn't, but what happen? I asked anxiously as I stood there with one hand on my hip.

"So, listen." "Her and all the rest of her slut bucket friends were sitting across from me at lunch right, "Little Chris walks up to the table acting all cocky and what not. "Keisha, asked Stacy something about homework for forth period then, Stacy reaches in her book bag for her binder". "Girl all of a sudden Little Chris points at her binder with the other hand covering his mouth, then he busted out  laughing so hard that his homeboys  came running over to the table.
"Everybody was confused until she got ready to hand Keisha the binder."
My ears were standing at attention as I listened to all the details. "And what happened". I ask.
"Girrrrrrrl". "Tellllll me why she had a maxi pad stuck to the side of her damn binder brah."
My eyes filled up with tears as I  laughed soo hard that I had to sit down just to breath. I was balling out. Finally after catching my breath I was able to respond to this shameful news Katrina just delivered.
"Man I feel so bad for her I said as I got up off the side walk brushing the dirt off the back of my pants.
"Yeah, I kinda felt bad to cause she ran out the cafeteria crying. Keisha added.
We stood there joking about the situation a little bit longer then proceeded to walk to my house.
"Trina, I think that's your mom. I said as I spotted the blue Toyota approaching us.
"Yeah that's her. She must've got off early today". "This don't never happen. She said as sarcastically.
"Hey Ms. Jackson I yelled out. As we made our way to the car.
"Hey sweetie, you want me to drop you off ."
"Oh no mam it's fine I need to do a little walking". Thank you."
"Ok, tell your mom I said hello."
"Ok Ava I'll call you later Katrina said as she got in on the passenger side.
"Ok girl" I replied as I slowly back away from the car.
Ms.Jackson turned up her Avant and sped off down the street then, I continued my way home. Still about a block away a black car with tinted windows pulled up aside of me
causing me to stop in fear.. The back window rolled down slowly........."Hey Ava, how are you?"
I just stood there because I couldn't speak. The person in front of me is someone I dreaded to see, especially alone.  Finally, I mustered up the courage to speak.
"Ummm hey Mr. Antonio." I said with my hands tightly gripping the straps to my book bag and sweat forming on my top lip.
"You ok Ava?" "You look like you saw a ghost." He said as he pulled his sun glasses off of his face revealing his dark eyes.
My heart begin racing, I had to keep it together because I knew if I showed any hint of fear it would make my look suspect.
"No Im fine I just need to make it home. I have to use the bathroom really bad."
"Oh oh, I'm sorry. He said with a smirk on his face. "Go ahead and get home before you make a accident."
"Ok, bye Mr. Antonio I said as I walked away as quick as I could.
My house was now in plan view and Mr. Antonio had pulled off. I was in relief.
My mind went blank when I heard a screeching sound. All I could remember was a van door swing open and two masked men grabbing for me to get inside.

I thought I was about to be killed as I sat in between the two masked men monitoring my every move. I begin to scream, kick, holler. This went on for at least a good 15mins until the van stopped moving. My heart now sitting in the pit off my stomach as I feared for what was about to happen next.
The door opened and of course it would be him........Mr Antonio.........then I blacked out.

" Ava wake up." Zoo called out as he placed the cool towel on my face. His voice gave me a sign of relief.  "Everything is going to be ok Zoo said.
"Hmmmm Zoo, I want to go home". Where am I, I asked as I tried to clear the fogginess in my eyes.
"You're at my house he replied while trying to pick me up on my feet.
