Part 5

Monday morning....

Malik got up bright and early while I laid in bed watching his every move. Today I was going to find out exactly who he was talking about last night at dinner. If he was talking about Zoo and his father's people. I had to leave now. It would be only a matter of time before he would find out who I really am.

Malik gave me a kiss on my forehead and headed out of the door.

Knowing that Katrina had not left out of town yet I reach for my phone to send her a text.

Hey girl meet me at 12pm at the Starbucks across from Malik's job.
I hit send and got a instant reply back.

Ok I'll be there. Katrina replied.

I loved Katrina like she was my blood sister. She always had my back no matter what. Even if I did make stupid decisions she was always down no matter what. I remember when me and Zoo first started dating, everyone in school couldn't stand that we were together. Especially the varsity cheerleaders. They hated the fact that he didn't care much about the girls who were always at the next house party or dressed in name brand clothes everyday. So they began to spread rumors about him sleeping with stank walk Stacy.

Stacy was on the varsity cheerleader team as well. She was well known for having a slutty reputation. Everyone from the junior varsity on down to the track team knew who she was. Her mom was a well known real estate agent and her father was a preacher at a local church. I must admit I kind of believe the rumors to,so I broke up with Zoo.
Then one day I was in one of the bathroom stalls getting ready to come out and in came a group of girls being extremely loud. I heard one of the girls mention my name.

"Yes! That dumb broad Ava believed those rumors." "I'm really about to make him mines now." She said while laughing.

I took a peak under the bathroom door and I saw a varsity cheerleader bag with the name Stacy stitched into it.
I quietly step on top of the toilet seat so no one would notice I was in there, and I began to listen more.

"Yes girl! Zoo has track practice today so I'm going to approach him and invite him and his boys to my party" Stacy said while slapping one of her friends a high-five.

"Did you see him today?" One of the other girls added in.

"Yes girl he was looking sooo damn good."

After having a full conversation about Zoo they finally grabbed their things and walked out of the bathroom.

Still in the bathroom stall I finally came out when they were quietly down the hall. I could have approach her then and there, but I knew that the scary broad would have had her friends jump me I thought to myself.

I went to the sink to wash my hands and began to think of a plan of my own. I pulled out my phone to text Katrina.

Stay after school, some shit is about to go down.

I hit send and like always my girl was down.

Later that day me and Katrina walk towards the locker room where all of the athletes and cheerleaders met up with their coaches. After waiting to see if Stacy was amongst the others we finally decided to check the football field where practice was normally held. We spotted her doing stretches on the field.

I kept a close eye on her the entire time she practiced . She didn't even notice I was sitting in the bleachers.

After about two hours practice was over. As I sat in the bleachers I watched Stacy stank walk her way over towards Zoo. She stood there talking to him for a while.
It took everything in me not to fly down those bleachers onto the field and drag her ass across the turf like she was a rag doll.

I had to stick to the plan. I thought to myself.

I finally got up from the bleachers with Katrina following right behind me.
We quickly joined the crowd of other students coming off of the field so we could blend in. We headed inside of the locker room and waited patiently.
As I heard Stacy's voice get closer and closer my heart began pounding. The locker room door opened, I step from behind one of the lockers facing the door. Stacy's eyes opened wide like a deer caught in head lights.
I balled my fest tight and went off in her jaw. She hit the floor instantly.

"Who the dumb bitch now"! I yelled out.

She laid on the locker room floor holding her busted jaw and didn't make a move.

I step over her and proceeded to walk out. I came out like nothing never happened.

Katrina was outside guarding the door to make sure there were no administrators in sight.

We both walk out of the school building just in time to catch the after school bus.

The next day I expected Stacy to snitch on me but she didn't. She had been telling all of her friends and teachers that she slipped in the showers that were in the locker room when they ask about her face.

I must admit, even though I would never like the broad, I respected her for not snitching on me.

Me and Katrina sat inside of Starbucks sipping on our ice latte's. I told her the plan and then we put it in motion.

Malik didn't know Katrina was in town so I used her as a distraction so I could get exactly what I needed.

Katrina got up and exited Starbucks and proceeded to walk towards the precinct. Once inside she texted me.

"I'm here, make a move.".

I got up swiftly and headed over.

Everyone down at the precinct knew that I was Malik's wife so being able to waltz right in and go directly to his office was not a big deal.
As I was walking in I saw Katrina standing at the receptionist desk. I had told her to get Malik to come out of his office so I could make my way in.

Still walking towards Malik's office I heard Malik walking towards the receptionist area. I picked up speed so he wouldn't notice me turning the corner.

Once I finally reached his office, I began searching through the file cabinets.

After searching for about five minutes I decided to call a quits. As I was getting ready to walk out of Malik office I noticed a manilla folder on his desk. I opened the folder and my eyes grew wide.

I placed my hand over my mouth. I was in shock at what I was looking at.

There were pictures of what seem to be someone following Zoo's every move. I quickly flip through the stack of pictures, checking the dates as I looked at each image. The last picture was an image of Zoo carrying a black duffle bag into a storage company. I looked at the top right corner to see what date the image had been taken and to my surprise it was taken only just a few months ago.

After all of these years I thought for sure he was dead , I thought to myself self.

I stood there starring at the picture amused at how mature he had gotten. The last time I saw him, he was 18.
He looked well-kept and even more handsome then before. I could tell he still had swag by the way he was dressed.

Still starring at the picture. Malik's office door flung open.

"Royce what are you doing here?". Malik said.

I just stood there quietly with my back turned towards him waiting to hear the door shut.
Once he shut the door I seductively turned around and opened my trench coat slowly revealing my all black lace lingerie.

He stood there in shock at what was before him.

"Baby you know we can't be doing nothing like this in here" he said stuttering.

I walked towards him and place one finger over his lips.

"Shhhhh" I said whispering in his ear.

I gave him the cookies in his office with Zoo on my mind the entire time. I wanted to find him. Even though I promised that I wouldn't.
