Okay, this chapter'll probably be pretty short. I'm just trying to develop the pairings a little further before stuff happens and the end comes about. Yeah, it's getting closer, guys. Sorry to say that, but it's true. TT~TT

Joy's POV~

So there we sat. England was reading the paper and sipping from a cup of tea. I was chugging Dr. Pepper and batting a ball back and forth on the table surface, bored out of my frickin' mind!

"UUURRRRRRRGGGHHHH!" I moaned, banging my face against the table... I lost track of how many times.

"Ms. Night- Uhm, Joy, please stop with that racket," my boss asked, picking his cup up so it didn't spill.

"Englaaand... You're supposed to be my boyfriend, right?"

He paused and looked at me, setting his paper down. "What in the world could be bothering you, Joy?"

"I'm boooored!"

"Well, yes, I can see that," he said with a little chuckle. "What would you like me to do about it, then?"

"Can't we go out and do something? Like, on an actual date?"

He sighed and drank the last of his tea, standing. "Alright then, if you insist. What would you suggest we do?"

"Something, anything!" I replied, throwing my hands up in the air. "Just save me from the boredom monster already!"

~~

"Uh... Britain, I've seen this a hundred times already..." I said, deadpanning as I looked at the famous landmarks of Britain; the Parliament building, you know, all that great stuff. Great stuff I'd seen a thousand times while living here.

"You said you wanted to do something, so here we are," he said, frowning a bit.

"Well, yeah, but can't we do something interesting?" No one ever said I was one for tact.

"Well, what would you suggest?" he asked defensively, as usual.

"Well... We could go shopping somewhere fun!" I suggested hopefully. "I've got some presents to buy to give everyone at the end of the school year, anyway."

"Am I to assume I'll be paying?" he grumped.

I giggled. "You're the guy, arentcha?"

~~~
"Hey, Al? Do you even know how to read manga?" Rayn asked America from the couch in the teacher's lounge. They were bored and just hanging out together with no particular agenda in mind.
"Sure thing, babe! That's where you read-"
"Moo."
"Uh, wha-?"
"Moo."
"Rayn, what're you-?"
"Moo."
"Okaysoit'sthatbookwhereyoureadbackwardsandallthatright!" he rushed together before she could interrupt him again.
She grinned. "Knock knock."
"Who's there?"
"Interrupting cow."
"Interrupting cow wh-"
"Moo."
~~~

"Hoooney~?"

"Hm?" Scotland looked down at his fiancée in his arms. He and Kadi were lying on the couch in her living room while Heather and Ariani watched an older Disney movie in front of them.

"Did we ever decide on a wedding date?"

Scotland's mind went blank. "Uhm... no?"

"Haha~ Oops."

~~~
Russia was talking quietly to Vale in Russian while they sat on a bench and held hands, enjoying the sunshine of the warm late June day. Nothing could have ruined their time together, not even-
"Hide me!" Vale whispered urgently when her gaze drifted over to a pair of countries coming by. Russia acted fast, throwing his jacket over her and effectively cutting her off from view.
"Oh, 'sup, Russia dude?" America asked as he and Rayn pulled even with the bench. "Whoa, hold up a sec! You aren't wearing your jacket?"
"Da, it got too warm for it," he replied casually.
"Ya haven't seen Vale around, have you?" His tone turned nothing short of murderous.
"Net, she is not around here, America. Honestly."
"Okay, Imma trust you here, dude."
"Do svidaniya, Russia!" Rayn called cheerily as she and America left, and Vale threw off the coat when she was told they were gone. Russia put his jacket back on and settled into his scarf, letting it hide the lower half of his face.
"Spasibo, Rossiya," Vale cooed, cuddling up to his arm and kissing his cheek.
"Ne za chto, Tsvetochnyy," he replied with a return peck. (You're welcome, Flower)
