You're My Teacher?

Mary Margaret smiled at Emma as she talked to the old woman behind the counter then sat down next Emma with a smile.
"So Emma where do you live I don't think I've seen you here before." She explained just as Granny sat the two mugs in front of them.
"Thanks Madame." Emma told her catching Granny by surprise. She smiled.
"The pleasure is all mine little one." She told her then started yelling at the lady in the skimpy outfit, about how to treat people.

"So Emma where are you from?" Mary Margaret asked and Emma shrugged taking a sip of her coco.
"Oh well I came from my mother " she told her sarcastically and Mary Margaret laughed.

"Very funny , silly I knew that much I mean where do you live." She asked taking a sip of coco.
"At the orphanage." Emma told her and Mary Margaret nearly spit her coco out.
"You're an orphan ?" She asked sadly and Emma nodded then glanced at the clock.

"Darn it!!! Sorry Mary but I gotta go ! I'm gonna be late!!!" Emma exclaimed springing from the swivel stool as she raced out the door.

Emma raced out of Granny's after she drank her coco with Mary Margaret. She was almost late for school. She burst into the classroom and noticed there was no teacher.
"Hurry come sit ms Blanchard isn't in here yet!" A little girl with blonde hair urged her and Emma swiftly sat down next to her.
"Hi I'm Grace." She explained with a bright smile and Emma grinned.
"I'm Emma." She murmured and Grace smiled warmly

"That's such a pretty name!" She exclaimed and Emma shrugged.
"Uh I guess so." She murmured just as Mary Margaret raced in panting slightly.
"Sorry class that I'm late,but I lost track of time." She apologized sincerely and Emma frowned this woman was her teacher?!

Mary Margaret caught Emma's eye and smiled brightly.
"Class please welcome our new student Emma Swan." She told them. Emma smiled shyly, wondering if this place wouldn't be so bad.

"Hi." Emma murmured and a lot of the kids responded with a "hi Emma" she nodded turning back to Mary Margaret who was
Smiling warmly.

"Okay class were learning about birds today." She exclaimed opening the window with a smile.
