Two Weeks Later

Emma loved her parents, she really did, but omg they were so protective. Emma wasn't use to that, although it probably bad something to do with Marcie and her constant threats towards Emma.

Also her mom worked at her school still, so she could keep an eye on her. Which kind of annoyed Emma.

Anyway though Emma was sitting outside eating lunch, since her mom was on cafeteria duty, and trading her healthy stuff with sugary treats. When she saw Burney knock over a rather small looking kid with shaggy brown greasy hair.

Intrigued Emma stood and raced over to them.
"What's going on?" Emma asked softly and Burney(who was a ogre back in the enchanted forest) scowled as he pointed a angry finger at the boy.

"He stole my lunch money!" He growled and Emma put her hands on her hips.
"Okay then give Burney back his lunch money!!" She hissed and he frowned
"No thanks doll face I think I'll keep it!" He teased and Burney reared his hand back to punch and the boy pulled Emma in front of him and before Burney could stop punched Emma right in the face.

Emma yelped in pain and Burney frowned.
" Emma I'm so sorry I didn't mean to punch you!" He exclaimed and Emma , holding her eye with one hand waved him off.
"No Burney you're okay!" Emma reassured him then turned to the other kid.

"I can't believe you used me as a shield !" She grumbled and he held his hands up defensively.
"Sorry but by the looks of it , the punch hurt so I think I did the right thing." He told her smugly and Emma smirked at him
"Oh you think so?" She asked and he nodded slowly as she socked him right in the nose.

"Still think you did the right thing?" Emma asked and he groaned as he rolled around on the ground.
"No." He groaned and Emma swooped down and pulled Burney(who was laughing like crazy) lunch money from the kid's pocket and handed it to Burney.

"Okay who are you!" Emma asked yanking him up by his shirt collar.
"How're you not still in pain?" He asked holding his nose and Emma rolled her eyes in irritation.
"I've had worse injuries by bigger and stronger people. Now start talking!!" Emma commanded.

"Alright alright alright my name's Baelfire." He whispered and Emma sat him down slowly.
"I've never seen you around here before where have you been?" She asked sounding somewhat skeptical.

"Um I've been kind of waiting outside of town for the curse to break so I could see if my papa was here." He whispered and Emma completely released his shirt and put her hands on her hips.
"Okay then tell me his name and I'll help you find him."

Instantly Burney whispered in Emma's ear.
"Um Emma I don't think your parents are gonna let you out of their sight." Emma rolled her eyes.
" it'll be okay Burney, well go now and they won't notice." Emma told him and he frowned.
"Whoah whoah whoah whoah what's this we stuff and aren't you in your mom's class?" He asked and again Emma rolled her eyes.

"Yes we because you're coming too. You owe me for punching me and my mom wont notice hopefully." She encouraged him and he relented as they walked back over to Baelfire.
