Epilogue

I opened my eyes, feeling sensitive of the light like I hadn't seen it for years. I looked around me, everything was almost microscopical. My vision got better than...before. I sat up and looked around me. I was in my room...in the Cullen's house.

"No," I whispered and ran in front of the mirror faster than I could have imagined. I was fast before, but now? I was faster.

As I saw my reflection in the mirror, I tried to breathe for I wasn't breathing earlier like I did before. My eyes were plain red and my hair that looked like it had had highlights from a five-star salon before was now gone. It was just plain shiny gold color.

My skin was also paler than before, like I had no blood in my body...which was possibly true.

"How?" I asked myself. I thought that I was far off too gone for them to revive.

"I love you," someone blurted out. It was the voice of someone I knew very well. "I couldn't afford to let you go. If you die, I would want to die too. Sorry for being too selfish,"

"Seth," I looked at him. "Why? I don't want this,"

He walked in front of me and grabbed both of my hands. "Don't you want to be with me?"

"I want to be with you," I admitted. "I just don't want to be a monster,"

"You're not a monster,"

The pain in my throat ripped me out of fantasy. My eyes widened at what was happening to me. I jumped out of my room and into the forest to search for something. I then smelled the scent of that metallic substance.

Blood.

No.

I ran to where the scent was, not being able to stop myself. I then saw a child, at the age of six, walking by himself holding a net. "What are you doing?" I hissed. If I didn't get out of here, I would kill him. I was sure about that.

"Hey!" he said cheerfully. "You're pretty,"

"Get out of here," I said, shaking. One more minute and I was sure that I would tackle him to the ground. I needed to control myself.

"But I wanted to get some beetles!" he whined.

"There are no beetles in this season," I told him honestly. "Go back to your mom, and don't go out here again!"

"I will if you do me a favor!"

"What is it?"

"Give me a hug!"

My eyes widened because of this. He was still a kid. He would still live his life for many years. He would grow up and be happy. If he did go out here again, there were chances that vampires were roaming around. "If I give you a hug you wouldn't go back here?"

"Nope!"

"Then come here!" I kneeled and opened my arms. Once he slammed himself on me, I wrapped my arms around him and nuzzled my head on his neck. Blood. 'Don't do this, Brynn. You're not a monster.' I told myself.

Not a monster.

I was not a monster.

If Carlisle could ignore blood.

I would be able to do it too.

I ruffled his hair when he pulled away. "Stay out of here, okay?"

"Okay!" he ran away from me without looking back.

I searched the woods for animals and saw a deer.

And that was what I tackled.

I made my way back to the house and when I walked inside it, all of them were gathered around, except for Seth."Congratulations, Brynn," Edward told me. Obviously, he already read my mind about what happened.

"I saw you hugging a boy," Alice said. Obviously, she saw it. "You're immune to blood just like Carlisle,"

"How'd you do it?" Esme asked.

"Not really sure," I smiled. "I need to get used to this whole full vampire thing now, huh?"

"Your guy couldn't really afford to lose you, he brought you back and Rosalie was already halfway into finding you,"

"And I changed you," Rosalie smiled at me.

"Where's Seth?" I asked.

"He told us to tell you to meet him in the place the two of you first met," Emmett answered.

"That's so sweet, you know?" Bella told me.

"You should go and get him now," Carlisle nudged at the door.

"Jasper," I looked at my foster brother. "Enough with the mood thing. I don't need you to boost up my feelings,"

"Just in case," he smiled.

Gladly, I remembered the spot where Seth found me even though I fainted on it. It was the same route to my old house after all. "Hey," Seth said from behind me. "Glad that you could come,"

"Are you going to tell me that you love me again?" I asked him whilst grinning. "You already told me this morning,"

"You didn't let me finish," he breathed out and held both of my hands once again. "I love you, Brynn. I didn't mean to say those things to you. I thought you wanted freedom from me,"

"Are you insane?!"

"Yes, I am insane," he said. "I lost my sanity when I met you,"

"That's so...cheesy?" I then smiled wider at him. "But for the third time, I love you too,"

"We have forever to go starting from this day now,"

"Forever it is," and then we had our official first kiss of being together forever without anything other than love.
