Nancy Pov
3 months later

" Ohh my fucking Jesus , Nate this is so painful !! " I screamed.

" I know baby , I know - "

" No you don't know. " I screamed.

He kissed my forehead and held my hand tighter. Even after me yelling at him he was still comforting me.

" Okay ms Jones , you're gonna have to push. "

" Ugggghhhh . okay okay. " I said ignoring her.

" One.. Two.. Three push. " she said loudly.

I pushed and more pain was coming.

" Keep pushing , she's crowning. " she said louder.

I pushed and squeezed Nate's hand really hard he nearly screamed with me. The pain stopped and I heard crying.

" Oh my god. " I said with tears in my eyes.

They laid my baby on my bare chest and I just let the tears fall. I felt Nate wrap his arms around the back of my neck and softly caressed the baby.

The doctor came over with papers.

" What are these? " Nate asked confused.

" Ultrasound pictures , social security numbers , state ids , birth certificate. "
He took the papers and sat them on the hospital table.

" So what are you naming her? " Doctor McKinney asked me.

" Natalie Jo'Lynn Lewis. " I said smiling.

The doctor smiled and I looked over at Nate who was cheesing.

"I knew you'd stick with the name Natalie. " he said laughing.

They carefully took my baby and wrapped her in a baby blanket and Nate pulled a chair and sat next to me.
" Nancy Za'Rae Jones. You know I love you , after all we've been through and all the problems we've faced. Your hardheadedness and my dumb ass moves , makes us the perfect couple and I'm glad that you're mine. You just gave birth to my first born and I'm so proud of you baby. You're my thing one to thing two , my bonnie , my Beyonce. You're my everything , and I'm glad I have you. If we ever drift apart , I'm sure we'll be pulled back together. Now imma ask this question , and please don't say no.. But Nancy Za'Rae Jones , will you marry me baby? "

I felt more tears come to my eyes and his hands gripped mine.

" Yes Nate. " I said smiling and kissing him.

I heard the doctors clapping and all eyes were on us. He pulled out a medium sized diamond ring , it was so beautiful. When did he have time to get this? Oh my gosh.

" Nate , I love you so much. " I said smushing his face and pecking his lips.

" So when can she leave? " Nate asked our doctor.

" In the morning. She just has to rest. Be here in the morning to sign the release forms and she can go. "

I laid back on the uncomfortable bed and made the best of it. I closed my eyes and played with my ring and let sleep take over.

I woke up remembering everything that took place yesterday. I can't believe he proposed. I woke him up and he signed the papers. He went into the infirmary and cradled Natalie and we left.
