"Right! Year 11, I know your first day back can be hard but you need to concentrate!" Shouts my newest science teacher 'Miss Johnson', the next teacher to be dumped with a genetic experiment; she hates it here.

"Miss?!" Daniel says as his hand shoots up

"Yes Daniel?" Sighs Miss Johnson.

"Never trust an atom," chuckles Daniel building up to his big finale "Cos-cos they make up everything!!"

The class erupts with laughter for a moment.

"Daniel, that joke is relevant to science, yet irrelevant to this lesson, so please keep the jokes for break time." Says Miss Johnson, of course the class find this hilarious and it takes Miss Johnson another 10 minutes to calm them down again.
Daniel throws his hand down on his desk in a sulk, tucks his chair in loudly then smirks at me from across the table; I roll my eyes.
I must've dosed off as when I wake up the bell has gone,

"OK class! Don't forget your course work is due Friday!" Shouted Miss Johnson, no problem I've already done it.

I jump on the bus then. Release my red pony tail from its prison of clips; it swings low beneath my waist and I walk to the back of the bus only to find a Year 7 boy sitting in my usual seat.

"Move NOW." I mumble making myself taller to try and get him to move.

"Why should I?" He says with a cocky tone.

"Because if you don't I'll make you." I say through gritted teeth; he moves like a scared dog with his tail between his legs.
I sit down in my seat and put on my head phones, although this tranquility will not last long...
