Once I'm home, I find the door ajar so I step inside.
The house is empty of life except a letter on the glass table presumably from my mother, I pick it up the panic sirens still ringing in my ears.
Dear Hazel,
I've gone to the emergency bunker.
By the time you get this I'll probably be there already, I don't expect you to join me.
You are young and strong, i want you to stay and help.

Next to the letter I notice a small package, opening it I notice a small pistol and a large dagger. I hold the pistol in my hand and feel the cold metal in my hands, is it bad that it feels as if it belongs there? In the package there is an outfit made entirely of black leather with pockets for the gun, the dagger and an emergency food pack from the city centre I will collect later.
