It's been a couple of months since I found the food pack, and necessities are scarce.
Dan says he's worried about me he said he can see my ribs but I'm stronger than he thinks.

I'm walking through the forest the harsh winds pinch my face and I wrap my jacket tighter around my body, Dan pulls me close to him his arm around my shoulder, he's trying to be strong but I can feel him shivering and he jumps at every noise.
We have both become on edge these past few months, as more and more people are becoming infected in our area it is harder to avoid them.

We are trying to get back to my house to check on Ciara I've been texting her but her responses have become slower and slower I'm getting worried.

My foot catches on a loose tree root and I trip, Dan fails in his attempt to catch me and I hit my head hard on a rock.
The world goes dark my ears are ringing I can hear Dan muffled shouting but I can't hear, I can't move.

Every thing goes quiet and I just black out the wind still pulling at my body as its sways lifelessly.
