Apocalypse

Chapter 20

~some time later~

We've been home for about 4 or 5 months now and Dan has been unresponsive for days, it doesn't help having morning sickness and a kid kicking at your insides all day.
I've got around 3-4 months till its born but it's been hard to think about it since Dan has started being unresponsive and there's zombies knocking at my door, I didn't really want to bring a child into this apocalypse but I have no choice, obviously I'm 5 months pregnant.

Anyway my baby bump is getting pretty big and hobbling around isn't fun.

I'm sat on the sofa eating a cheese toastie (grilled cheese) with Ciara sitting next to me, I think she's actually more exited than me for the baby cos she will get to babysit.

"What are you gonna name it?" She asks pushing her hair out of her face.

"Urm I'm not sure, I was thinking Hope or August for a girl and maybe Oliver or Tobias for a boy?" I say looking down at my bump I'm not sure what I'd prefer, a girl or a boy?

"Well I hope it's a girl, I can teach her equations and stuff!"

"Dan wants a boy." I snap then instantly regret it, "Sorry, it's just all this about the baby and I might loose Daniel and-"

"Don't worry, I understand." She puts her arm round me, I can always count on Ciara to make me smile.

I apologise if a lot of this is skipped, it's just that I don't want to just have loads of chapters including like sitting about and boring stuff I wanna get right to the point, if you disagree and have some advice to make things more interesting, please don't hesitate to comment!
