We trudge through the snowy streets bathed in moon light, me and Daniel both scowling at each other behind Ciara's back, I think we may be slowly forgiving each other as this is become a slight game.
Daniel comes over to me suddenly and tickles me where only he would know I'm ticklish.
"I love you," he whispers in my ear then laughs "In a friend way though, forgiven?"
"Yes OK but never do that again!" I laugh and hit him on the arm.
He hugs me putting what feels like a box into my back pocket, whispering "Early present, happy Christmas."
