"You've got a new assign-er person in need." (Y/N) scowled at her boss' choice of words.

"They are humans just like us, Erwin. Titans should be held with the utmost respect and importance."

"Of course..." He cleared his throat, "His name is Eren Jaeger. He has been harming himself by biting his hands until they bleed, so his grief-stricken parents have requested for you to help him."

"Never can I help someone, but I can guide them into helping themselves." Erwin nodded and handed her the boy's file. She sat down at her desk and placed it on the table.

"Well, I'll leave you to it." Erwin awkwardly rubbed his neck and walked out. What a strange man, she thought. Her eyes trailed to the file in her hand. A deep sigh left her lips before she read its contents.

Eren Jaeger suffers from depression and anxiety. He has a habit of biting his hands until they bleed and the bone is visible. He constantly locks himself in his room and rarely talks with his parents. His foster sister, Mikasa Ackerman, was killed in a fatal car accident, which most likely caused his depression and anxiety. 

(Y/N) immediately shut the file and let out a shallow breath. He reminded her of herself when she lost her older brother to a similar crash. She cried for months and stopped eating her meals. Oh (B/N), she sniffled. Her fingers wiped away the tears that cascaded down her cheeks before vowing to help Eren so his pain didn't follow him around as hers did. 

"Hurry up, Mikasa! You are going to be late!" Eren stepped into the car and started the engine. Emerging from the house, she wore a dark blue business suit.

No...

"I'm here, okay! Jeez..." She got into the car and put on her seatbelt as did he.

"Are you ready for the interview?" He said as he started driving.

"Yes... I'm just really nervous."

"Mikasa, you'll do great." She smiled at him in appreciation.

Suddenly, Eren's vision became blurred by flashing blue, red, and white lights.

"Watch out!"

"Mikasa, no!" A truck smashed into the side of the car and they were flung across the road. The vehicle landed with a sickening crunch. Blood oozed out of him profusely and he slowly began losing consciousness. He turned his head to see Mikasa barely breathing. Her eyes were closed.

"Mikasa, no, please! Mikasa!" Then Eren's eyes were blinded again. He woke up in a hospital next to Mikasa, but she wasn't breathing.
