(A/N): Hello my lovely Bluenotes! I have been working on this one-shot for the longest time. I have written it and rewritten it. The story has changed a lot since the first time I wrote it, and I am honestly proud of what it has become. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

"Smith Incorporated: one of the biggest companies in the world. Full of women that don't have a single hair out of place and men that don't have a single wrinkle in their suit. Work is always done on time and not one single bad review has been written about it. It seems like a dream job to have doesn't it? Well, it's not. The amount of effort it takes to be that pristine is staggering. Step one foot out of line and everyone's breathing down your neck like a hellhound. The only reason anyone ever works there is because the pay is absolutely incredible... if you do your job right." -Get Your News Now, Titan Studios

The annoying sound of heels clicking across tiled floor echoed through the halls. Thin legs carrying the woman forward almost like she was a robot. Her face held a stern look as she tightened her grip on the bundle of paperwork. Nothing else mattered besides getting these papers to where they were supposed to be. She was so focused on her task she didn't see the fool stumble right in front of her. A look of temporary shock swept across her face as papers flew everywhere.

"Oh my, I'm so sorry!" A clumsy girl scrambled to her feet grimacing at the sharp look the woman was wearing. The lady watched the silly female pick up the scattered pieces of paper. Her left eyebrow twitched with rage. Unorganized papers were thrust into her hands and she scoffed in disgust. Her eyes gave the stupid girl a once-over before storming off grumbling about having more work to do.

     Way to go (Y/N)...

The girl bit her lip and chided herself for being so stupid. She raked a hand through her (h/c) hair as a sigh escaped her lips. She stood there for a minute until proceeding to where she was actually supposed to be.

516...

She took a deep breath before knocking on the door. Papers shuffled around on the inside before a voice spoke.

"Come in." She fixed her shirt and took a deep breath. Her hand reached out, grasping the knob of the door. It slowly turned before clicking open. The office was huge- no, enormous. A plush red couch sat on the right with a big coffee table in front. Shelves stacked every wall except for the big glass wall that overlooked the city. A huge desk was in the center of the room and in front of it were two small leather chairs. Her jaw hung open as she marveled at the place. The sound of a throat clearing shattered her dazed concentration and she quickly clenched her mouth shut. Mumbling a soft apology, she sat in one of the leather chairs.

A man with broad shoulders sat behind the huge desk. To his left was a golden name plate that read: Erwin Smith. Blonde hair framed the top of his head and a dark brown suit hugged his figure. He was currently scribbling a few things on some important looking forms. After a minute he finally set his pen down and looked up. Light blue eyes that held a heavy stare captured hers. They narrowed slightly, observing her. A bead of sweat formed above her eyebrow at the intense staring contest.

"Name?" He finally asked. Coherent thought seemed to dissolve into nothing causing her to open and close her mouth like a fish. What was her name?

"Name?" He repeated, annoyance lacing his words. She subtly shook her head and smiled.

"(F/N) (L/N)." She reached into her bag, pulling out her extra references. She delicately placed them on the table, but he shook his head.
