(Y/N)... You should just leave... I do not want to leave you in tears... He frowned. I cannot choose between the two of you, and I do not want to. Her heart ached at his words, but she couldn't help but put a smile on her face.

Then I shall fight for you... She couldn't let that bitch steal him. 

Why is this so confusing?

You'll know who to choose in time, and I hope it's me... Listen, I've got to train... I'll catch you later... She slowly walked away only to turn to a full-on sprint. The cool air smacked her in the face as she ran outside. She wasn't angry... yet.

He's such an asshole! (Y/N) gritted through her teeth as she ranted to her best friend, Mikasa, who had always thought so. 

It just isn't going to work out between us... She told her and together they devised a plan to help her avoid him. She wouldn't look at him. She wouldn't talk to him. She wouldn't wait for him after meals. She wouldn't do or say anything to him. He hurt her and it was time for the pain to end.

Day 1: 

(Y/N) turned down the corridor hallway, and noticed him walking in her direction. She quickly spun around and briefly exited. She had hoped Erwin hadn't noticed, but he did as he stopped in his tracks. Confusion etched across his face. Was she avoiding him?

He quickly traced where she departed. She sighed in relief before standing from her crouched position. After determining the coat to be clear, she continued walking to her destination. Erwin watched her do so from behind the wall. He figured Levi could sleuth out the answer for him and turned on his heel in search of his steel-eyed friend.
