After that amazing night we all ate dinner at our place. Annabeth was so excited the entire night. She was already planning every little detail for the special day.
"Annabeth, you are so lucky you found a boy who cares about you." Hazel told Annabeth. Annabeth and I were sitting on the floor. I was leaning against the couch with Annabeth in my lap. She was extremley tired from all the activity. She was nodding off as it was.
"I know. I love him so much." Annabeth mumbled sleepily. Jason tucked a pillow under her head so she was more comfortable. I thankd him.
"We should probally get going. By guys. Congradulations again, Annabeth. See ya Perce." Travis, Connor and Nico all stood up and left.
"Yeah. We should be heading out too." Frank got up and helped Hazel to her feet. They both hugged Annabeth. Hazel hugged me too and I shook hands with Frank.
A little while later, everybody else was gone. Annabeth and I were alone.
--------------
It was two months since I proposed. Annabeth had our wedding planned out. We were having it after she had the twins so she didn't have to buy a huge dress to fit over her big tummy.
The babies could come at any time but we were hoping they would wait until the twelfth. We were anxious though.
It was May 4th when we got the call. It was from Jason, he sounded urgent.
"Hurry. Piper's having the baby. We're at the hosipital." He hung up and we set off for the hosipital as fast as we could.
"We're here. How is she?" We asked, running to Jason, who was pacing outside the labor room's door.
"She's almost done from what the doctor's told me. They said there were some complications but they didn't say how." Jason looked worried sick. he was pale and had bags under his eyes. His blue eyes were dull and sickly looking.
Annabeth ran to hug him and he started tearing up. I wasn't going to make fun of him though because of the conditions.
Just then everyone else came running through the halls.
I whispered to them what had happened and all the girls went to hug Jason for support.
"You need to sit dow." Annabeth pushed him into a chair as he staggered.
"How long have you been here?" Hazel demanded.
"Until two in the morning." He mumbled sleepily.
"Percy and Frank, go get him some food and water. Hurry." Annabeth ordered. We nodded and went to the cafeteria. We ordered him two tacos and a large water. Then we ran back.
Jason took the food and devoured it. He looked a little better. Then the doctor opened the door and gestured for us to come in.
"She is OK. She's sleeping at the moment but will wake up soon. We had some complications. The baby was twisted around her mother's cord and we couldn't get her out. We had to cut her stomach open and untangle the baby." The doctor said. Jason ran to his wife's side and kissed her forehead. We all gathered around. That's when we heard loud crying.
We all turned and gasped. A nurse had just came into the room with a little pink blanket in her arm. Jason stumbled foward and took the little girl gently. He was crying.
"She's beautiful. She has her mother's eyes." Was all Jason could say as he looked at his new daughter.
Just then Piper woke up. She saw her husband holding her baby and smiled, exhausted.
"Want to hold her?" Jason put the baby in her arms and she gazed at her daughter with affection.
"Juliet Reyna Grace." Both of the new parents said at the exact same time.
------------
The day after that Jason and Piper had their new baby girl home. They were the happiest people on earh.
"I can't wait for these two to come." Annabeth said. Then she thought of something.
"What will we name our children?"
"I was thinking Charles Lucas Jackson and Silena Phoebe Jackson." I said. I had actually though these names. They stuck to me the most.
"I love them Percy. Thank you for taing the time to think of them." Annabeth was really emotional lately. When she said this she ad a tear trickling down her face.
I sat down next to her and pulled her to my chest. She fell asleep crying. I gently laid her head on the couch and got up. I went to take a shower and work on the bills.
That night Annabeth cooked us breaded chicken and corn cobs. I loved this dinner. We ate it and chatted about the babies.
"I want them to look like you. They should have your eyes" Annabeth said to me.
"Well I think they need your hair." I said, taking a bite out of my corn. She smiled.
We talked like this for the rest of chores too, debating about what the baby would like.
After chores I turned on the TV while Annabeeth went to change into something comfortable. She came down wearing yoga pants and a pink sports bra. He hair was pulled into a messy bun.
She sat next to me and we watched movies for awhile. That was when we got the call. It was from an anxious Frank.
"Hazel's gone into labor. Get here as fast as you can." He hung up, just like Jason had.
So, just like the day before, we loaded into the car and drove to the hosipital. Piper, Jason, and Juliet met us at the doors. We went in together and found Hazel's room.
Little Juliet cried for an hour straight before falling asleep in her dad's arms. Both her parents were exhausted. Piper was already sleeping in a waiting chair. Jaosn collapsed next to her and was out. Right before he fell asleep though Annabeth asked if he wanted her to hold the baby while they slept. He reluctantly gave her away.
Juliet cuddled into Annabeth's arms and continued to sleep. I covered her up with a blanket as she rested on Annabeth's stomach. Annabeth was just so good with kids.
A little while later Frank came into the room looking overjoyed, but tired. We followed him into the room where Hazel was and saw her holding a little blue blanket. She was grinning and exhausted.
"His name's Michael James Zhang." Hazel said. At the sound of his name the baby whimpered in his sleep.
I was really starting to worry about Annabeth and our kids.
