The Nanny Job Ch.8

I don't know when I fell asleep but when I woke up it was dark and the credits were rolling and the movie was done, all of the guys were sleeping, Ashton was curled up right next to me. Felix was on the ground with the popcorn bowl held tightly to his chest. It was a funny sight. All the other boys were in awkward positions. I got up and cleaned up all the cups and got blankets for them.

I came back with an armful of blankets and covered each one of them. I had tried earlier to take the bowl out of Felix's hands but he clutched it tighter to his chest. I checked on the girls once more before I went to bed.

I woke up around 7:00ish am, and got myself ready for the morning that only took about 15 minutes. Since I woke up earlier than usual, I took time to brushed my hair until it was a big frizz ball and did a simple braid on the side. I headed towards the living room where some soft snores could be heard and saw that all the boys were still there. I made my way to the kitchen and started breakfast, I whipped up some chocolate-chip pancake batter and got out some bacon.

When all the food was done, I didn't even have to call the boys. They were already awake and sitting at the kitchen table, Felix came into the kitchen and he had maker all over his face, and he was carrying the popcorn bowl. I tried not to laugh but it was really hard, they had filled in his eyebrows and on his forehead it said 'I woke up like this!!! FLAWLESS!', I couldn't even look at Felix without smiling, he gave me a few weird looks.

I set some plates onto the table, and saved some food for Ashton, because I new there wouldn't be any left when he woke up. "So? How'd you guys sleep?" I say, I got a few 'goods, eh,' and a few grunts, and Felix was eating like there was no tomorrow, "So, what are you guys doing today?- I ask, when they all looked at me questioningly I started listing off the things, -well I mean it's a nice day today and it's a weekend, you know ahem Felix there's a beach near by? And it's hot today? You know I-" I was cut off by Felix looking at me with the what-do-you-want-from-me look, I smiled sweetly at him, "So? Felix what are you doing?" I ask him innocently, he gave me a side glance and scowled, "Well I'm actually going to hangout at, uhh one of the guys place..." said looking at the guys, then Legend spoke up, "Uhh actually,- he said mimicking Felix,- you aren't going to hangout at any of our places we're going to stay here, and you should take Abby to the beach." he says, while the other boys nod in agreement, I then look towards Felix and flutter my eyelashes towards him giving him a pleading look.

After Felix cleaned his face, he agreed to bring me to the beach, and the guys said they'd take care of the children

I changed into a sundress and packed my sunglasses, sunscreen, towels, some sweets (for Felix as a piece offering) and a blanket. Felix had a scowl stuck on his face, and stomped to his car.

When we got to the beach it was still as beautiful, I couldn't remember the last time I had been to the beach. It was already around noon time and there was a slight breeze, I kicked off my sandals (which Felix picked up) and grabbed Felix's hand and dragged him onto the sand. He didn't have his scowl on anymore he actually looked happy. He set out the blanket and I took out the sweets and gave it to him, he happily grabbed it and ate it.

We left when the sun had set, Felix and I talked about random things, and ate dinner at McDonald's and the best part was that he bought me a ice-cream cone! We got home around midnight, laughing all the way. When we got inside he couldn't stop laughing so I had to put my hand over his mouth (which I shouldn't have done) he then licked my hand, and I rubbed it all over his face which only made him laugh harder.

He slapped my hand away, and I shoved my hand back into his face, so he shoved me away and I shoved him, so it turned into a shoving war, I don't know how long we were at it but I was to caught up in the shoving that I didn't notice that the guys were watching us. When Finn cleared his throat Felix and I broke apart, Felix immediately pointed at me I hit his hand and pointed at him. Trystan and Legend looked at us like we were crazy we probably did look crazy, I tried to smooth out my shirt, trying to look proper, which was a fail, "Haha, hey guys, how much did you see?" I say hoping they didn't see much, Trystan scratched the back of his neck, Finn was typing on his phone, and Legend looked at us with the are-you-for-real look, "Well.... if you really want to know, we kinda saw the whole thing, you guys are really loud. By the way I was rooting for you! So please continue." Legend said, I could feel my face getting warmer, "Oooookkkk, well if you don't mind I will be leaving......" Felix said trying to slip away, I caught the collar of his shirt before he could run, but he slipped out. And I chased after him.

In the end of course I made Felix say/plead 'uncle', which he'll never admit to and he left with the other boys. I walked into the kitchen to get a glass of water and I saw Finn in there too, I walked into the kitchen minding my own business and Finn of all people decided to make a conversation, "So Abby, how was your time at the beach with Felix?" he asks, "Oh it was great, I actually don't remember the last time I was a the beach... By the was your time at home?" "The guys and I just hungout with the kids, Ash kept on asking when you'd be home, the girls were a bit crankier than usual, and yeah, nothing much." he said listing off the things. Finn and I talked until it was pass 3:00am, when I saw the time I had to head to bed. "Night, Finn." I walked away and stopped when Finn replied, "Night Abby, sleep well."

when I got into bed a smile was stuck on my face, I thought about all the events that has happened this past month, and fell into a dreamless sleep
