It's been a few days since the party, Finn and I haven't really talked about that night. But nothing is awkward between us. Joy left and went back to work. It's been pretty quite in the house.

Today was a park day for the children. I had gotten them ready for the park and we went. Ashton brought his new yellow and red truck (that I had given him for his Christmas present) and of course he ran straight to the sand.

Ulloa and Tesla ran around on the play-structure and went up down the slides. They soon got tired of running around so I pushed them in the swings.

Ulloa and Tesla started getting cranky, so I got our things together and we went home. I fed the children lunch and put them down for their naps. Then I went into the library and read some books.

I looked at the time and it was already 2:39pm, my foot had fallen asleep so I rubbed it hoping the pinsandneedles would stop. When my foot was fine I went to the kitchen and looked around for a snack. Luckily I found some chips and snacked on them.

*Ding Dong... I heard the bell ring, I put the chips away and made my way towards the front. "Coming!" I yell, I went to the door and checked who it was. I checked and I was shocked.

It was Hunter... he already heard my voice so there was no use in pretending I wasn't there. I didn't have my phone on me, so I opened the door a crack. "What are you doing here?" I asked, he chuckles a little and sighed, "You know damn well, why I'm here." he said, "I really don't. Enlighten me." I tell him sarcastically. "Why don't you let me in?" he suggested, Ha! In his dreams. "How about no. Now leave or I'll call the police." I threatened, I closed the door tightly and made sure it was locked.

I ran to the kitchen and got my cell.

"Please pick up, please pick up!" I repeated over and over hoping Finn would pick up. Once again it went to his voice mail.

I dialed Felix's phone next hoping he'd pick up. I kept my fingers crossed and hoped for the best.

"What's up?" Felix answered, I let out a breath of relief.

"Felix, Hunter is here." I tell him,

"Okay, don't let him in. Finn's in a meeting so I'll come over right now!" Felix said,

"Thanks Felix. Call me when you're close." I say,

"I will. Be safe." he ended the call and I went back to the front door, I peeked out of the peephole and didn't see Hunter but I saw an unfamiliar car in the driveway. Hunter's car. I sent a quick text to Finn notifying him Hunter was here. I hoped his meeting would end very soon.

I stayed by the door because I was paranoid. I stayed at the door hoping Felix would hurry. I paced back and forth, I felt my nerves building up. *Bang bang! I jumped backwards startled and let out a stifled squeal. "Open up!!" Hunter demanded, I let out a shaky breath and stood. "Listen Hunter, you better get out of here! I will call the police!" I scream. When I said that I didn't hear anything else, but his car was still there.

I waited by the door, checking the peephole ever so often. I heard a car pull-up so I cautiously looked outside to see Felix's car. I saw Felix step out of his car and he started walking up towards the front door.

As he came nearer I suddenly had a bad feeling. Out of nowhere Hunter literally punched Felix's face! "Stop it! You scumbag!" I scream while opening the door and running to Felix, Hunter punched his jaw a few times. I had a sudden burst of adrenaline, I hit the back of Hunter's head as hard as I could with my elbow. Hunter groaned and got off Felix, "Get the hell out of here." I said angrily.

I kicked him in the stomach for good measures. Which was satisfying, I quickly bent down to Felix and boy his jaw looked terrible.

Hunter went away and I brought Felix in. "Come on. Let's go inside." I say to him, I put his arm over my shoulders and helped him. I sat him on the couch and ran to get some ice.

"Here." I put the cold compress onto his bruised jaw, making him wince. I gave him some painkillers for his jaw. "Thanks for coming as fast as you could. I don't think he would've left. If you didn't come." I tell him, "Yeah no biggy. What kinda big brother doesn't come to his sister in the time of need? By the way, thanks for getting him off, and I'll try not to get on your bad side." he said. I laughed a little and wiggled my eyebrows.

"All right you should sleep. The medicine will kick in soon." I tell him, kisses his cheek as a 'thank you' gesture. "Abby?" I turned away from Felix, to see Finn. "Oh hi Finn. What's up?" I asked, he had this look on his face I couldn't describe. I started walking out but Finn looked petrified. "Finn? Hellooooo?" I nudged his shoulder and laughed a little when he jumped a little. "Uh yeah. Let's go." he said distractedly.

"So what happened to Hunter?" Finn asked, I pulled out some ingredients for dinner and put them on the counter. "He left...." I said, I heard a sigh come from Finn, I didn't know if that was good or bad. "Abby what happened?" he asked, "Well to tell you the truth..."

I told him what had happened, he shook his head and rolled his sleeves up. "Finn?" I ask, "What do you need help with?" he asked, surprising me. "Ah well, would you mind cutting the vegetables?" I asked, he shrugged and got out a cutting board, I got out the meat and started cooking it.

"I think it could use some more salt." Finn said tasting it, I nodded my head and sprinkle some more salt in. "Here taste it." Finn said, he held out the spoon and I ate the food, it was flavorful. "Mmhhm, it's good." I complement him, "Awwww aren't you two cute." Felix said, I looked at him and saw his jaw was now blue and yellow.

I brought the children down and Ashton was amazed by Felix's giant bruise, while the girls weren't to interested. We ate dinner together, when we finished as usual, I got the children ready for bed.

Finn and Felix cleaned the table, "Hey Abby, Felix and I have some business things to discuss. We'll be there in a few minutes." Finn said, "Wait we have things to discuss? Can't this wait?" Felix asked whiningly, I rolled my eyes at his behavior and nodded understandingly, "Come on, let's go and pick out some books." I said to the children leading them towards the game room.

I read a few stories until Felix and Finn came in. Ashton was sleepy and the girls had fallen asleep awhile ago. "Hey." I said, Ash yawned causing me to yawn. I closed the book and smiled tiredly at Finn and Felix. "Well I'd better get going." Felix said, he kissed my cheek "Bye." I said, he hugged Finn, then he left.

We put the children to bed and I headed to bed. "Night Abby, sleep well." Finn said, he kissed my cheek. I smiled softly, "Good night Finn." I went into bed and couldn't get the smile off my face.
