The Nanny Job Ch.6

When I woke up, I went straight to the shower trying to wake myself up. When I was done with the shower I tried to brush out my big curly frizz, but I gave up after a few tries and pulled it into a messy bun. I quickly got dressed and made my way towards the girls room, I checked on them but they were still sleeping. I then made my way towards Ash's room, I opened the door a crack and saw him wide awake, I heard him humming a tune. I walked into the room and smiled at him, he rubbed his eyes a bit and yawned. He was too cute! He stretched out his arms, wanting to be picked up, I picked him up and brought him to the kitchen.

When we got to the kitchen I wanted to make something simple. I brought out some eggs and bacon out, when I started frying the bacon Ash started clapping excitedly, after I was all done with the bacon I started making the eggs, when I was done with the eggs, I turned around to get the bacon but it was gone and so was Ashton, I shook my head and smiled. After I made more bacon, I put it in a safe high place, I then went to got the girls.

When I went into the room the girls were already awake playing with their feet, I washed and changed their bums. I carried them to the kitchen, when I got into the kitchen Finn had Ashton on him lap, they were laughing and chatting, and in front of them was the empty plate of with the greasy napkin. They looked adorable, when Ash saw me he shyly hid his face in Finn's shoulder, Finn looked like he was in a good mood this morning "Morning Abby, Ash here woke me up and had a plate full of bacon, we were going to return it but while we were walking here it slowly disappeared..." he said, jokingly "Of course it did. I wonder were it all went? I'm sure Ash knows were it went... Ash?" I say teasingly, he shakes his head trying to pull an innocent look, which made him look 10times cuter! I struggle trying to put the girls in their highchairs because both of them are in my arms, luckily Finn opens their highchair and I set them in. Ash comes to me with two bowls and Cheerio' box for the girls. I thank him and ruffle his hair making him run behind Finn.

 I finished serving out the food, and went to get the coffee when Finn said"Abby, Felix told me to tell you to 'don't forget to make an extra plate for him.' " I rolled my eyes how could I ever forget? Felix always seems to appears just when the foods all done and ready. When the table was all set, I got out the coffee and pored it into three mugs, I carried it to the table right when Felix sat himself down, "Morning Abby, did you miss me? Oh wait don't answer... let me guess you did..." Felix said, "Uhm, in your dreams Felly..." I said back trying not to smile and handed him his cup.   

We all enjoyed breakfast, at least I think everyone did, I'm sure Felix enjoyed it, he had 3 helpings. After breakfast Felix and Finn left to work, and I cleaned the kitchen in a record of time. Ash and I reviewed his numbers and the alphabet. After we sang the alphabet countless times, I told Ash to get ready because I wanted to get out of the house so, we could to go the park. I got the girls all ready in matching out fits and got out the twin stroller and Ash brought some of his toys with him especially his favorite truck.

The walk wasn't to far only a few blocks away, when we got there Ash ran straight to the sandbox and instantly made friends with other boys, I put Tesla into one of the baby swing seats and began to swing her and Ulloa was happily munching her feet and watching Tesla go back and forth. We stayed at the park for almost an hour until Ashton started saying he was tired and hungry, so we headed home. 

When we got home I made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for him. I warmed up the girls their milk, and gave it to them before they took a nap because it helps them fall asleep. I put Ash down for a nap too, he looked like he was going to face-plant his sandwich. After I put them all to sleep, I decided on making my favorite ginger cookies.

When the dough was all done I went to check on the children, it was late in the afternoon. Ashton and the girls were still asleep, so I went back to baking the cookies. I was on my last batch of cookies when I felt a tug and my shirt, I looked down and saw Ashton looking up at me curiously, he still looked sleepy, I lifted him up onto the counter and he watched me roll the rest of the dough into little balls.

When they were all cooled I halved one with him, he shoved the half into his mouth and stuck out his hand for more I gave him one more and he ran off to get his truck. He thought they were chocolate cookies since they were dark brown. I set up the girls play pen and put their toys into it, I woke up the girls and put them into the pens.

For dinner I made some strifry vegetables, baked chicken, and fried rice. Felix had called and said to start without them because they were going be a bit late for dinner. I was feeding the girls when my phone started to ring I looked at the ID caller it was Joy, I answered and put it on speaker.

"Hi Joy, how are doing?" I greeted,

"Hello, dear I wanted to check in with the children, I know that their in good hands it's just.... I miss you all, and I'm fine work has been very hectic and busy. Are the children behaving?" she said,

"Of course, you know I'll always keep Felix in line." she laughed at what I had said, we talked about the children, I gave her an update on everything, then she talked to the children. We talked for a good long 30minutes before she had to leave. "Bye Joy, I hope you get to visit soon!" I said, "I hope so too. Now Ash you be a good boy and help Miss Abby with your sisters. Ok?" she said, "Otay, bye gwanma!" he said with a mouth full of cookie and waved to the phone.

It was around 10:00ish, and the boys weren't home still, I started to get really worried. I told myself to calm down, I decided to make myself a cup of tea and eat some cookies, and that's what I did. I still wasn't fully detracted so I looked through one of their libraries and looked for a book.

I didn't even know what time it was, and I was finished with the book. My tea and cookie were long gone, I walked to sink and washed my dishes, when I looked at the clock, I saw it was already 2:00 in the morning. I went to my phone and tried to call Felix again. I had already tried several times but there was no pick up. "Hello?" I let out a breath of relief, "Felix! Where the heck are you??!" I say angrily trying my hardest not to scream, "Well we are going to be home soon, so could you open the door? Cause I don't think Jack is awake" he said, I sighed and said I would, and with that I ended the call.

I opened the door and waited in by the door, I saw two figures one was stumbling and the other one was trying to steady the other. When they got closer I could see clearly it was Felix and Finn. I didn't know whether to be mad or helpful, I of course snapped out of it, and helped them in.

Felix had much to explain.....
