The Nanny Job Ch.11

The past few days I haven't gotten a wink of sleep, and the girls got sick and have been a lot more crankier. Trystan, Cole, and Legend visited earlier but I didn't really get to hangout with them because I was taking care of Ulloa and Tesla, since everything has been a disaster, I've been a disaster, and I've been feeling under the weather, but I can't just call in sick, it's kinda sad to say this but I'm like a mother to them. I told Ashton we could skip school and do some crafts. I had set everything up for Ashton while the girls slept, I sat down tiredly and helped Ash make pictures, and cut paper into random shapes. When he was finally done, he ran over to me and gave me a picture of, me carrying the girls and him standing next to me. "It's perfect Ash, go ahead and put it on the fridge." I tell him, he kissed my cheek and ran off.

Before I started dinner I started to feel a headache to come on and I felt really cold, but I was sweating like a stuck-pig. I was in the living room and I had put Ashton down, when Jackson came in, and said, "Miss Abby you don't look to well, maybe you should rest." I couldn't argue with that, I started to walk to my room but Jackson insisted that I should lay down on the couch. I down know when I fell asleep but I could hear faint voices, in the back round, my eyes and head felt so heavy, I couldn't even move I was so sore. "Ash, she's going to be fine, you need to go upstairs." "NOOOO!! I wanna be wiff herw!!" "Ash, please she needs to rest, and you need to sleep too, common I'll tuck you in bed." then I heard a sigh and then nothing.

I woke up to some beeping noise, all I wanted to do was sleep, I opened one of my eyes but then quickly closed it, the room that I was in was super bright, I opened both of my eyes slowly and carefully, I saw that I was in a hospital room. I shot up from my laying position and felt dizzy, I started to feel my headache come back, so I gave up on trying to get up and fell back asleep. I woke up in the middle of the night and looked around the room again I finally found the control where you could call the nurse. The nurse came and helped me, "May I have some food?" was the first question I asked, the nurse was kind enough to bring me some food with out question.

The Doctor came earlier and had told me that when I had came in my body had shut down, and I had chills, a very high fever, and the flu. He also said that I was in here for a week. I was beyond shocked.

I was reading one of the magazines that one of the nurses had brought me and when all the sudden the door opened and Ashton came running in, the little girls holding Finn's hand while they were walking, I was so happy I started to feel emotional, I greeted them happily, the doctors said that I wasn't contagious any more.

"Miss Abby!! I bwought books so you can rwead!!" Ahs said dragging in a big bag full of books, I laughed, "Thank you, Ash." he climbed on the bed in the process of ripping all the blankets off, and gave me a big wet kiss on the cheek. Finn set the girls on the bed and they trampled my legs, Ashton had begged me to read them some stories and I did.

At the end of the 5th story, they were all asleep and I felt sleepy too, I had almost forgotten that Finn was in the room, he had to leave to the room a few time because he had a few calls, but whenever he came back he would just sit down and listen to the story, I set down the book that was half way done and turned to look at Finn, he was typing on his phone like usual.

"Thank you, Finn." I blurted out, he looked at me and smiled, "You're most welcome, and it's really nothing, I'm glad you're are feeling better, Felix missed you. Also the children missed you a lot, Ashton always asked when you were coming home.- he says taking a deep breath- Oh and my mom came to help out, but she's been more of a bother than a help. Don't tell her I told her I told you that. So yeah, it has been very stressful not to mention, work has been a big load and they offered me the CEO position, I'm not sure about it yet." he told me all about the week I missed, it seemed really stressful, "Don't worry Abby, you didn't miss much, except Tesla said her first word, I recorded her." he said happily, he showed me a video of her saying 'Dada' she was so adorable.

The Doctor had discharged me and Felix had came, and I was in a wheel-chair and Tesla was on my lap, while Felix pushed me, filling me in on the whole week I had missed(again).

When I got home, Felix and Ash begged me to help them make cookies, obviously their cookies weren't as good as mine they said. I gave them the measurements to everything, somehow the cookies turned out terrible, let me tell you they were burnt but doughy in the middle, it was a big mess.

I remade a new batch of the cookies and they tasted a lot better, when Finn had came in earlier, he saw the mess and knew it was Felix, he gave me a whole lecture of how Felix can not cook for the life of himself! I was pretty upset with Felix, for not telling me ahead of time. I made him clean his nasty, sticky mess.

"Thanks Abby, I really don't know how I survived without your food for a whole freaking week!! How do you make this so good? It's amazing!! Mmmhhhh!" he said shoving his face with cookies, Joy looked at him and rolled her eyes, "Yes Felix we understand, her cookies are great, now stop shoving your face with them, you are going to choke, and if you keep on eating them you're going to get sick." she said in a scolding tone, I couldn't help but snicker at how she treated him like a child.

After dinner Felix had left, Joy had cleaned up while I kept Ulloa and Tesla company, they were pulling themselves up by grabbing on to things around them, and they would use them as support to walk around. Ulloa and Tesla, have grown a lot and I've only noticed that a few minutes ago, they're both so adorable, Tesla has dark forest eyes and Ulloa has blueish, yellowish, greenish eyes her eyes are different, in different types of lighting, they are both have soft silky blond swirls of hair. Ashton has light brown wavy hair and his eyes are electric blue.

Once Joy was all done, she took care of the girls and put them to sleep. I felt really bad, because I was suppose to clean up, and I was suppose to take care of the children, I felt useless. I could use my legs but I'd need someone to help me and the Doctor said to rest for a few days, take it easy whatever that means. I guess I was going to have to get use to not being of any assistants.

The past few days have been such a drag, if I was permanently stuck like this, I think I'd go insane. I can't wait to walk again, Felix and Finn have been helping me, they've been so awesome and helpful. Joy has been very busy she's been taking care the children I try helping out with the girls, and she insist on teaching Ash, even though she doesn't really know what to do.

After a few days of boringness I finally was able to walk without Finn or Felix helping me, Joy had planned their yearly big family thanksgiving dinner, I was invited but I didn't want to feel like an extra baggage, so I told them I was going to see 'family', even though I didn't have any, and even worse, Joy had said that I could stay at my 'family's place' for a whole week. So here I am packing for my 'family'.

I didn't even know where I was going, I decided on going to some orphanage, to help I always helped whenever I could, and right now I can. After I packed two suitcases, I asked Felix to drop me off at my 'family's house' which really was the orphanage. Here goes my thanksgiving week.....
