Jack's POV

Tears are still streaming when I realize, I can touch her. "You're normal!" I say.
She looks down at herself, she is in the clothes of she wore as Molly but she doesn't look like her.

Patting herself over, as if she can't believe it, she smiles. "I'm normal! I'm not dead! Oh my god I'm not dead!"

She grins with joy and Dillon kisses her. It's passionate and loving, I wish someone would love me like that.

We all know you really love it kinky at heart.

I look around and realize for the first time, Gabriel is gone.

Well the party had no boose, bit of a bore.

But you rescued them, thought you'd want to be thanked?

Like I said, bit of a bore.

I smile at his antics, maybe he's modest at heart?

Definitely not.

As I'm lost in my own little world, people I recognize as Dillon's friends, I'm assuming they're also his pack, come through the tunnel.

Lots of 'thank god you're alright' business goes on but I fade out. With all the excitement I'd forgotten about the other person. No way they were still here.

"How many people were down here with you Mallie?" I ask, no way Nicola worked on her own, she was the kind of person that never did their own dirty work.

Her smile fades but it's a question I need to ask. "There was Helena, but she's dead, Nicola killed her right in front of me." She shuddered at the memory, her eyes glossing over with tears and she gives a weak smile to Dillon. She takes a deep breath."Nicola was obviously here but there was someone making the potion itself." She frowned trying to think. "It was definitely a girl and probably a student, I only ever heard her, she might not be that bad though, Nicola was always saying cruel things to her." She pauses in thought once more. "There was something though, whatever Nicola wanted to do, this girl asked her if she really knew what she was doing and warned her that it might not go her way." She looks me dead in the eye now. "She, Nicola, wanted to capture... No... bind something... someone." She looks down, trying to remember and tears fill her eyes once more. "I'm sorry, I can't remember anything else."

"That's..... AAAAGHHH!!" I scream in pain and fall down, clutching my ankle as another sky mark crawls it's way onto my skin.

Samantha's POV

Luckily I managed to get away while they were distracted with Mallaurie, I owe her no harm, I hope she's alright but now that Nicola's plan has failed I know I'm done for. The Church will definitely be after me and I must find Alice to try and get her to come with me. They're sure to use her against me and I can't have that, it's to risky.

I climb the stairs, my eyes still a little hazy from the blast of the Archangel. He was quite magnificent, but certainly deadly and I don't need him on my tail or anyone else if I can help it.

I look around and thankfully no one is around as I creep up the stairs to pack my things.

I think about packing Alice something too, but now that it's on my mind I don't think she'll come. I love my sister but her values are different to mine, she will put herself in danger to help the humans and that's her choice.

I'll ask but I won't force her, there's no point.

Never have I felt chills like what I am experiencing now, sweat burns on my skin as my blood pumps ice through my body and paranoia infuses into all my senses. The wind is stagnant, the trees mock me and the sky looks angrily in my direction. I am not ashamed of what I have done, I was trying to keep my kin out of the coming war.
