Chapter 5
Jack's POV
The principals office was large, luxurious, old fashioned and slightly terrifying.
But the principal was a stern lady in her forties that clearly did not know how to smile or make someone feel welcome. Worst hostess ever. There was a student just leaving and when I saw her face I nearly threw up. It was Tracy Cartrite. I knew her parents had sent her to boarding school but I didn't realise it was here, I also wouldn't have recognised her if it hadn't have been for her eyes, one was green and one was blue. She looked completely different, her parents had sent her to boarding school because they found her weed stash, I had liked her, she was unique and had her own style now, however, she looked like a blonde bimbo panda. I had never thought she would give in to peer pressure, she had been so strong.
Shit, were they going to do this to me?
I would be suicidal before I let that happen.
Great plan Sherlock.
"You can sit down Jack." It was an order not a request, so I did as I was told and sat in the extremely uncomfortable chair facing her.
"Am I being expelled already?" I asked sarcastically and when she didn't even move a muscle on her face, I sighed, utterly defeated in the fact that she was obviously evaluating me.
"Why do you think you are here Jack?"
"Because my parents can't stand the sight of me, or they actually think they are doing what is best for me. Which, in my opinion, only I can truly know." I had the urge to tell this woman my entire life story, all my concerns and fears, I had no idea why but I felt that for some reason I had to refrain myself from talking to much.
"Do you not like school Jack? You've been expelled or left every school you have been to, they add up to quite a high number."
"It's not the school that's the problem, it's the people I can't stand. Snobby bitches and good looking athletes, it's so stereotypical and fake, I hate it, it's like everyone is afraid of rejection."
"You are very bright Jack, why do you let your rebellious ways cloud it?"
"Just because you don't like it doesn't mean I'm rebelling." I countered defensively.
And that's how my afternoon went, her questions and my answers and it was so boring.
Alice's POV
Even with my excellent hearing, I couldn't hear the conversation between Jack and the Principal.
It was so fustrating, if they did put her in Dillon's wolf pack, Dillon would crush her because she disrespected him in the canteen, if they put her in Luke's group she would be devastated to know she would have to live forever with the stalker she found in her wardrobe. Even then, if she became part of my coven she would never survive, she may act tough and rebellious but her heart was pure, she would never be able to take some of the spells and her sister's would hate her, a white witch never survives.
Maybe if they made her a pixie? She might like them, they weren't all that bad...
I couldn't see her liking any of the groups. She was so pure, so crystal, yet so strong.
It fascinated me.
It was extremely strange how she could stand up to Dillon, even human's feel his dominance, his power and yet she stood up to him without flinching. On top of that, I could feel Luke trying to sire her, that's why Dillon intervened, but she didn't look even slightly effected when a human should have been swooning over him with the amount of power he put into it.
Clearly, Jack wasn't human.
The question was, does she know?
