(Justin)

Everything was so silent for a moment. It was almost as if the world stopped, and slowed down to make this moment longer. I wish it had of. I think right then and there, I was sure. With her heart beating next to mine, and her arms wrapped around me. I think I knew, that I was in love with her.

The area was so beautifully positioned. All I could see was green, and all I could hear is waves crashing in the distance, and.. clicking?

No! I looked to my right, where the my car was parked. In amongst the trees, I could see a small, overweight man with a large camera. They’d found me finally.

“Emily, we have to go!” Emily hesitated and didn’t move. “Now!”

I lifted her lightly off me, and began placing the food back into the basket.

“What’s wrong?” Emily’s face placed a worried expression.

“Paps. They found me” I sighed. No privacy, whatsoever. Well, It was nice while it lasted.

“WHAT!? Are you serious?” Emily peered over her shoulder, and saw the man I had seen.

She began more cautious, and began helping me quickly to pack up the picnic.

I wrapped the towel up, and shoved it in under my arm, also taking the picnic basket. I paced myself to the car, with Emily only a few steps behind me.

The familiar flash brightened the darkness of the night, as I entered the range rover.

I slammed the door, almost in sync with Emily’s.

“Ah fuck, here we go again.” I slumped into my chair, and began to start driving.

“It was nice while it lasted” I remarked sourly.

Emily grew quiet. I couldn’t even guess what was running through her mind. I felt bad. If those photos went online or even worldwide, I had exposed Emily to the world. And my belieber’s. Oh god.

I had to get her talking, I didn’t like the silence. I turned on the radio. An unfamiliar song played. I leaned in to change the station, but Emily stopped me.

“Don’t. I like this song” She said and began to sing softly.

I came across a fallen tree, I felt the branches of it looking at me. Is this the place that we used to love? Is this the place I have been dreaming of? Oh simple thing, Where have you gone? I’m getting old, and I need something to rely on. So tell me when, you’re going to let me in. I’m getting tired and I need somewhere to begin.

And if you have a minute why don’t we go. Talk about it somewhere only we know. This could be the end of everything, so why don’t we go, Somewhere only we know. Somewhere only we know..”

I couldn’t stop myself from smiling. I’d never heard Emily sing like she did before. I couldn’t get over it. I kept changing my glances from the road to her.

“What?” she blushed slightly, realizing I’d been watching her.

“I like that song” I told her, looking back at the road.

“Me too” she smiled, looking into the distance.

“I like it even more when you sing it” I flirted, switching my glance to the her again.

“Just keep your eyes on the road, and try and not get us killed” she said sarcastically, still blushing.

I was nearly home. I turned the corner, and a huge crowd appeared.

Oh fuck.

“Oh shit!” Emily exclaimed, sinking down further into the chair.

Paparazzi practically filled the outskirts of Emily’s uncle’s house. I was beyond frustrated.

The camera’s that had been pointing at the house, moved to our direction when we began to park in the driveway, not to distant from them.

I gave Emily an apologetic look. “Stick by me and we’ll be fine okay?”

She nodded, her face was filled with cautiousness and irritation. I felt I had brought this all on her. All my fame stress, was going to shift onto her now. And, now our relationship was going to go public. What about my fans? How will they react?

I began to open the car door, to make my way towards the house. I was swarmed with cameras immediately. “Justin, Where have you been?” “Justin who’s the women in the car?” “Justin, Justin, Justin!”

My name was being shouted from, from all different directions. It was chaotic.

I raced around the other side of the door, lightly pushing past the camera’s and people, to get to Emily. I couldn’t bare to think what she was thinking; Being exposed to this.

“Excuse me” I barged through to open her door. Her face fundamentally burried in my shoulder as soon as she was on her feet.

But there were people everywhere, the flash began to almost blind me. I managed to slowly push past the people who were snapping my photo. The sound of the camera button clicking continuously made me want to punch someone. I couldn’t believer they had found us.

Finally, I managed to get to the door and Emily fiddled in her pocket to where the key was. She gave it to me, obviously to scared to do it herself. I turned the nob and tripped into the house. Emily gasped as she stepped into the house.

“You go through that everyday?” she said trying to catch her breath.

“Usually I have Kenny to help me push past those maniacs” I laughed, slamming the keys on the bench, next to the door.

Emily pranced over to the couch and buried herself into the corner of it. I followed her, and snuggled in next to her. She clicked the t.v remote and the first thing popped up, was my face. How ironic.

“News travels fast!” Emily exclaimed, her eyes buldging.

The teen sensation was spotted snuggling at a small town in California, with a mystery girl. Who may Justin’s new girl be? We’ll update you for more soon.”

The blonde reporter smiled at the end.

“You’re fan’s are going to hate me! What a crap first impression I gave them all!” She untangled me from her and stood up and began pacing. “Oh, this isn’t good.”

“No you didn’t.. It’s a good first impression. I guess.” I tried comforting her, but she turned around and gave me out a sigh.

“No. They’ll think I’m a huge sleazy girl.”

“For snuggling next to me on a picnic rug? Oh yeah I’m sure” I stood up and reassured her.

“Everything’s going to be okay I promise.” I said wrapping my arms around her.
