The next morning my phone was buzzing. I rolled over and pulled my pillow over my head, but the buzzing wouldn't stop. Then I realised it was my normal alarm song, it was Can't Feel My Face but the Weeknd.
I don't know how it was set, but I only assumed that it was Luke when he put me to bed. I slid the bar across to shut the damned thing up and then I rolled back over to snuggle with Rogue. I threw my arm over her and snuggled my face in her neck.
It was currently 9am. I knew Luke was only trying to get me used to the timezone but I just wanted to stay asleep. It would be harder tonight when I'm over the exhaustion from travelling.
I heaved myself out of bed and had a quick shower. I felt gross from travelling. I was still in my travelling clothes and I hated it.
I got out of the shower and got dressed in some black skinny jeans and my summery Hollister top that said 'easy come, easy go'. I dried my hair and concealed the hideous spots that had broken out on my face from the flights.
Rogue was still napping and I knew she was going to struggle with this time difference too.
I felt heavy headed and I slowly went out of my room. I went to the minibar in the lounge area and chugged some water from a bottle in the fridge.
I wondered where the other guys were, they weren't anywhere to be seen. I checked in their rooms and they were gone.
I walked to the balcony and I saw a snapback over a chair. I smiled and slid the sliding door open.
The guys were outside chilling and they were so calm and it was so peaceful to see.
Calum wasn't there though, and I know I needed to talk to him at some point.
Luke turned around with the other guys to acknowledge my presence but then got up and walked over to me.
He gave me a hug and kissed my head. "Morning kiddo."
I sent him a mock death glare and he chuckled. He put his hands on my shoulders and guided me to his seat. He sat on the armrest as I took his spot.
"Good sleep?" Ashton asked me.
I rolled my eyes and they all laughed at me.
"You'll get used to it little 'un." Luke said, poking my side and tasering me.
I flinched away from him and he snickered, getting up and going back inside.
Ashton followed him and I was left with Michael.
Neither of us said anything for a while. Why did I feel so awkward?
"I've missed you so much, you have no idea Kayla."
"Mikey, I miss you too."
"Well you don't miss me now, as I'm here. You're not leaving."
I sighed. I didn't know what I was going to do. I could do whatever I wanted, as I was learning at home again. But I would need some support from teachers sometimes so I'd have to be at home mostly.
I didn't know what I wanted.
He broke the silence after I didn't reply.
"Okay, let's not talk about that right now."
I silently nodded, which was pointless as we were both looking over Baltimore over the side of the balcony.
"So, this is Baltimore."
"You've never toured here have you?"
"Nope, this tour is bigger and better that all of our other ones. We're going to so many more places."
