Chapter 4

~Jade~

"Jade! Oh my god! I haven't seen you in years," my little sister said.

"Hi Caitlin. How are you?" I asked

"Good. Mama and dad are in the house cooking and Alex is in the house too," she said.

"Okay and who is Alex?" I asked

Her face grew red and she looked at the ground.

"He's my boyfriend," she said.

"Well I want to meet him," I told her.

She nodded her head and we went inside.

We walk inside and I saw a man standing in the kitchen.

"Hi. You must be Alex," I said walking up to the man.

"Yea that's me. You must be Jade to protective sister," he said.

"That's me and if you hurt my sister in any way you want be having any kids," I said to him.

"Now now Jade don't be mean to the guy," my mom said walking in.

"Hi mom. Where is kent?" I asked

"Outside like always. He is working on the tractor again. So do you mind going to help him," my mom said.

I walked up to the shop to find my stepdad working on a tractor.

"Would you like some help?" I asked him.

"Well hey there. Haven't seen you in a while," he said walking over to me.

"Hey daddy. How have you been?" I asked him.

"Oh same old same old. Ha I been fine," he said.

"Would you hand me that shock it wrench?" He asked.

"Yea. Here," I handed it to him.

"Is Calum here?" He asked

"Yea Calum, Kol, and Rebecca are here," I told him.

"Well if my grand babies are here then I need to be down there with them," he said.

We walked out of the shop and went to the house.
