This isn't good. If Rebecca does pass, that's going to ruin Jade. It's going to ruin Calum. It's going to ruin their relationship. Their family.

Jade came over to me, and fell into my arms. "I can't lose my babygirl. I just can't." She sobbed.

"It's going to be okay. Everything will be okay." I assured her.

She looked up at me, and wiped her eyes. "You sure?" She sniffled.

I nodded. "Positive."

*one week later*

Rebecca has gotten worse. They are giving her up to two weeks to live. Jade and Calum have been babying her the whole time. Trying to give her everything she wants.

"Ry, what's going to happen if Becca does... You know..." Luke quietly asks.

"I don't know, babe. I hope everything will be okay, but I just don't know." I sighed.

"I don't know what I'd do if we lost one of ours.." Luke said, and laid his head on my stomach. I ran my fingers through his hair.

"Me either..." I said, a tear sliding down my cheek. My phone started ringing. "Hello?"

"Rylie?"

"Jade.. Is everything okay?"

I heard a small sob come through the line.

"No... Becca... Fluid is filling in her lungs again. We're in the emergency room right now. Can you get your kids and come here? The doctor is giving her just a few hours.. I'd like for them to say goodbye.." She sobbed in between sentences.

"Yeah, we'll be there as soon as we can.." I said.

I quickly rounded up the kids, and sped to the hospital.
