~Rylie~
"Excuse me, ma'am? You can't be in here. Family only.." A nurse told me as I walked into my moms room.
"No, I'm her daughter, Rylie Hemmings." I said, and she nodded and told me sorry for the inconvenience.
I sat down next to my mom's bed, and grabbed her hand. "Rylie?" She asked.
"Hey, mama." I smiled.
"Listen to me, okay? We all know that I'm not going to be here much longer, and I want you to take care of your father for me, you hear?"
"I promise, mama. I promise." I said, tears rolling down my cheeks. And with that, i heard the worst sound of the world. A flatline. "No, mama? Mom! No, no, no..."
A nurse came running into the room, and pulled my away from the bed. I tried to get out of her grip, but she had a very strong grip on me. My dad and Jade came down the hallway, and rushed to my side.
"She's gone, daddy. She's gone.." I sobbed into his shoulder. That was the second time I've ever seen my dad cry. First with Jess, and now with mom.

(So, I'm not going to write any of the funeral stuff cause that's way to sad, and I don't want to cry while writing this...)"Luke, my mom made me promise to take care of my dad... And I don't know what to do. I can't live halfway across the world, and take care of him... So it's either we move here, or he moves to Australia..." I said. "That's that. No ifs, ands, or buts."
"Do you think he'll move to Aussie?" Luke asked.
I shrugged. "I think he'll be open to it... Let me talk to him..."
We decided to stay with him for the last few days in Nashville just to make sure that he was okay.
I walked down the hall to his room. "Dad? Can we talk for a couple of minutes?"
"Yeah, hun. Come in..." He told me.
I walked in and sat at the edge of the bed. "So, mom...she made me promise to take care of you after she passed. So, would you be willing to move to Australia?" I asked. "I want to be close to you, and Luke doesn't want to live too far away from his parents..."
"Um, yeah. I'd definitely move to Aussie. There's too many memories in this house, and I don't know if I want to be reminded of it..."
I nodded. I gave him a quick hug, and he told me that he would pack the things he needed to move the next day. I went back in the room with Luke, and we both slowly fell asleep.
