June 15, 2027
The following year, Kate and Daniel get married at their grammar school's church. The maid-of-honor, Olivia, and the best man, Nick, got married a couple months after that. They moved from Sacramento down to the city so the friends could be closer to one another.
Kate and Daniel's wedding was a night to remember. Both families had a numerous amount of guests, and fun was had by all. With the throwing of the flowers, shoving cake in each other's face, and the lovely toasts made by friends and family, nothing could have made the night any better.
The happy couple was married at last, and everything appeared perfect. What more could they need?
Almost a year later, Kate was expecting a baby girl. On March 5, 2028, the Mayer's welcomed a new member to their family: baby Sophia. At last, their family was complete. The three of them were more than just a family. They were a team, a team with the perfect happy ending.

The kids are sound asleep by the time I finish the story. I love babysitting them. Kissing the top of each of their foreheads, I walk over to the doorway and turn off the light.
"And that's the story of how my parents fell in love," I whisper. "The end."
