Music wafting through the balmy night air. Guests in 40s get-up and Filipiñana attire came flowing in at  Governor Menandro's vacation house.

The house itself is grandiose and imposing. Bright yellow light from the antique chandeliers gives a warm glow in the event's atmosphere while the numerous bolo torches scattered around the lawn gives everyone the feel of truly going back in time.

Little is altered in the house' interior but, there is an abundance of white and red flower arrangements scatterd in the entire house. Most of the guests are by the refreshment table, while some chitchats in any of the numerous rooms of the house. The whole event seems gay and lively.

"It is a success, guys!" masayang sambit ni Carmela sa mga kaibigan.

"Superb talaga ang powers natin," Sandy seconded, "but I must say, feel ko itong outfit ko! And thanks, Carmie, sa pagtulong sa paghahanap ng outfit sa bayan!"

"It is no big deal! Well, look at Jamie and Rhei, bagay rin sa kanila ang Balintawak dress at baro't saya," Carmela gestured at our dresses.

"Ang daya mo Carmela!" reklamo ko, "kayong dalawa bagets ang dating samantalang kami mukhang lola sa get-up namin!"

"Oh, come on, Rhei," palatak ni Sandy, "at least yang suot mo is authentic dahil galing pa talaga yan sa era nila Alejandro!"

Napasimangot ako sa tinuran ni Sandy, "The more I hated it! I'm pretty sure nahalungkat ito ni best sa attic," panghuhula ko pa.

"Don't be miserable, Rhei," tatawa-tawang sabi ni Jamie, "kung kanino man yang suot mo, paniguradong may bibisita sa iyo mamayang twelve!"

"Haha, Jamie, ang sayang manakot," pauyam kong react na mas nagpahalakhak pa sa kanilang tatlo.

"Look on the brighter side, Rhei, you look exactly like a regal, classy bride in that get up! Pasalamat ka pa nga may free accesories na yang nahalungkat kong balintawak!"

"The more reason I am not happy," I muttered under my breathe.

"Hey girls," masiglang bati ng dalawang ugok as they near our cozy group.

"Wow bhe, you look dashing in your white tux!" Carmela said with awe upon spotting Daniel at ang mokong nagblush! Can't believe na alam nyang pamulahan ng mukha!

"Oh, stop oggling at him Carmie, he is as red as blood," puna ni Sandy.

"I agree with them bhe," sabad ni Dan, "and besides forever naman tayo kaya no need to state the obvious!"

"Anong obvious, pre?" di magets na tanong ni Ashton. He, too, looks debonaire in his barong tagalog kulang na nga lang ang ataul! Joke lang pero in fairness, mas gumwapo ang loko pero he still has that cocky grin of his.

"Na malapit ka nang paglamayan," sagot agad ni Jamie.

Napalingon si Ash tuloy sa kanya at nagdouble take ang loko and his eyes are bulging out of their sockets kasi may pagkamaton at jologs si Jamie!

"Oh la la, Jamie! What happened to you? Did you knock your head hard?" pang-aasar nya pa kaya hayon, nabatukan ng di oras courtesy of none other than Jamie.

"Ang saya nyong tingnan guys," Sandy observes, "I can't wait na may new love team sa barkada! I will write it on my blog later tonight! Oh gush, I'm kinikilig na!"

At sila Jamie and Ashton namula ang mga mukha! Obvious na kayo kaya ever since, pero pakipot mode kayo pa rin hanggang ngayon eh!

"Wait, Carmie, bhe, asan yung bubuwit mong bestie?" nagpalingon-lingon si Dan na tila hinahanap ako. Sarap upakan pati si Ashton na gumaya rin sa idol nyang ugok.
