I had chosen a pair of denim shorts, a black tank top and a white jacket to wear over top my swim suit. I slipped on my Converse sneakers, grabbing my purse before heading downstairs to meet Kian. Thankfully my headache had gone but I took along the medicine anyways just in case. I looked around the lobby trying to spot him. I felt a pair of hands covering my eyes, "Guess who?" he whispered into my ear, sending chills down my spine.

"Obama," I laughed turning around to see Kian who quickly pulled me into a hug.

"Not quite," he laughed kissing the top of my head. The butterflies in my stomach were fluttering so fast that I thought I might be sick, but the smile on my face said otherwise. "Are you ready?"

"If you are," I said as he grabbed my head and led me to the door and out onto the now crowded sidewalk.

"I figured I could drive us to lunch instead of walking, if that's ok with you?" he said turning into the parking garage.

"Sounds good," I said following him hand in hand to his car. At which he opened the passenger door for me and shut it upon me getting inside. I put on my seat belt as I watched him run around to the other side jumping in quickly.

"So I figured we could eat at Beachwood Cafe, it's close to the sign and the food is great."

"Perfect," I said smiling as I watched through the window as we drove. I liked the way that things moved so fast, as if everything was a mix of colors.

We were seated quickly, the cafe was adorable. A place that we would never have back home. We shared from a bottle of water that we were given when we sat as we glanced at the menu.

"What are you getting?" I asked unable to decide.

"Pasta!" he said shutting the menu.

"Get me the same," I said standing from the table. "I'm gonna go to the restroom really quick.

"No problem," he said taking my menu. "But don't spend all day in there!"

I laughed heading toward the ladies room. I stood in front of the mirror staring into my eyes. I couldn't help but wonder what I was doing here. Ordinary Ella didn't have any business being on date with an amazing guy like Kian. I couldn't help but wonder if when people looked at us together, if they thought, 'what is he doing with her'. I pulled my phone out of my purse, I had the sudden urge to call my mom and ask her for advice. I paused and collected myself, mom would just tell me to come home and to stay away from boys. I washed my hands and dried them as I continued to look at myself in the mirror. Taking a deep breath before walking back out toward the table.

"Took ya long enough," Kian laughed as I sat down.

"Did you already order?" I asked taking a sip of water.

"Yeah, I got you the most disgusting thing on the menu!"

"Then you're eating it and I'm taking yours!" I laughed.

"I love your laugh," he said softly placing his hand on mine on top of the table. "I've never met anyone that I just clicked with so easily before."

"Me either," I said staring into his eyes.

We were interrupted by the water placing our dishes in front of us. Two identical plates of pasta. We eat quickly, not only because we were hungry but because we wanted to stay on Kian's schedule.

As we left the restaurant a group of girls started pointing toward us. My heart fluttered, I couldn't help but feel as though they were making fun of the fact that plain me was with Kian. We quickly got into the car, just in time for the parking meter to run out. Kian played music as we drove, songs that I hadn't heard before but liked. He pulled into a dirt parking lot stopping and turning off the car.

"Here we are," he said throwing his hands up. "We just have to climb us this path, here." He handed me a bottle of water and took one for himself from his backseat. They weren't cold but I suspected it would be better than nothing considering the heat.

"This is insane!" I said as we started up the path, hand in hand.

"Just wait till we get to the top," he laughed. For every one step his long legs took I felt as though mine took five. In reality it was probably two at most, but I was growing tired though I tried not to show it.

"C'mon!" Kian said taking a step in front of me and crouching down.

"What?" I said looking at him like he was crazy.

"Hop on!" he laughed patting his back and I did. At first it was terrified but once we gained our balance we were making much better time.

"Sorry I have stubby little legs," I laughed.

"Sorry I have bean poles," he said marching forward. I placed a soft kiss on his cheek, creating a huge smile on Kian's face. Something about this just felt right.

"Here we are!" Kian said stopping and letting me down. "This is as close as you can legally get!"

"Amazing!" I said taking in the view and pulling out my phone.

"Oh you won't get signal," he said pointing toward my phone.

"I want to take pictures silly," I said opening the camera app. "Smile!" I pointed the camera toward him snapping a few pictures before taking some of the view.

"Hold on your missing the prettiest view of all," Kian said taking the phone from my hand.

"Where?" I said looking around as Kian took about ten photos of me.

"Got it," he said flipping the phone around to reveal the photos he had taken.

"Come here," I said cuddling up toward him. "We have to get one together!"

"Here my arms are longer," he said taking the camera taking a few photos of us smiling with the incredible view behind us. "Last one!" he said planting a soft kiss on my cheek, I couldn't help but blush.
