The next morning I awoke in my hotel room, with Kian's arm laid across my head. His bed was so wet that I had invited him to stay the night with me. There was something intimate about sleeping next to someone and seeing them in the morning. No one is attractive in the morning, I don't care what you say, no one wakes up flawless. Though Kian did look almost perfect, his drooling wasn't flawless.

I tried to slide out of bed undetected, shoving a pillow under Kian's arm. I stood watching him sleep for a moment before turning to creep toward the bathroom.

"Where are you going?" Kian's voice startled me.

"The bathroom," I said turning to face him again.

"You could have just said so, instead of trying to be a ninja."

"Right," I said turning to walk back toward the bathroom.

When I returned Kian was sat upright scrolling through his phone.

"What's up?" I asked plopping back down on the bed next to him.

"Oh, just work stuff."

"Work stuff?" I questioned. Kian had never exactly told me what he did for a living but seeing the house he lived in and the car he drove, I imagined it had to be something pretty important. Though his young age and tattoo covered body didn't suggest an office job. And I knew he couldn't make those kinds of funds waiting tables.

"Yeah, nothing big."

"Are you a stripper?" I said without thinking, like word vomit, it fell out of my mouth the moment it popped into my head.

"No!" he yelled looking at me like I was insane.

"Sorry," I said covering my hands with my face in embarrassment.

"I make videos."

"You're a porn star!" I yelled sitting upright to face him.

"No!" he yelled. "Let me finish damn it!"

"Sorry," I said softly.

"I make videos and post them to YouTube. A YouTuber. I've been doing it since I was a kid. I just get to make a living off of it now."

"Oh," I said regretting that I had practically just accused him of being a stripper and a porn star moments before. I had heard of YouTubers before. A few of my friends were really into watching videos online instead of watching TV. But I was always too busy to become obsessed with anything.

"It's weird I know," he said covering his face with his hands. "I just love it though."

"No I don't think it's weird," I said pulling his hands from his face. "It's cool!"

"Really?"

"Yeah! I wish I had the courage to do something like that."

"Anyone can do it!" he said with excitement. "Even you!"

"No," I laughed. "I don't think I could do that. I'm too ordinary, no one would want to watch that."

"Would you quit saying that?" he said shaking his head as he got up and went toward the bathroom.

"Saying what?"

"Ordinary!" he yelled as he closed the bathroom door.
