"So basically I'll get a job in LA and start paying my way when I'm able."

"Until then I am perfectly happy helping her out, I don't even care if she pays me back," Kian laughed.

"There are tons of restaurants and stores so I shouldn't have a problem finding a job quickly."

"I could even help her out, I have some connections with better than minimum wage jobs," Kian smiled.

"I can start school online or even on a campus out there when I'm ready to."

"I'll encourage her to, education is important!" Kian shouted a bit too aggressively.

"Ella," Dad started.

"We are happy for you," Mom interrupted.

"We are?" Dad questioned as Mom shot him a look as if to say, yes we are.

"As long as you're happy, we are happy," Mom said grabbing Dad's hand to hold.

"I'm happy," I said looking at Kian.

"I'll make sure that she's happy. If she isn't I will do everything in my power to change that." Kian paused putting his arm around me, "This might be crazy, I think even I thought it was crazy at first. But when you know, you know, right?"

"Right," I said leaning my head onto his shoulder.

"We support you," Dad said with a smile though I could see tears building up in his eyes.

"Just don't become a stranger," Mom interrupted.

"Of course not!" I laughed, "I'm not running away this time!"

"I'll make sure she calls, texts, visits, letters even, maybe smoke signals," Kian laughed.

"When are you leaving?" Mom laughed.

"Ehh a few days?" Kian said glancing to me.

"A few days?" Dad repeated.

"I figured she would want a chance to really pack this time, to see loved ones, to properly say see you later instead of running off."

"Smart thinking," Mom said pointing toward him.

"I try," he laughed.

"Well kids," Dad started.

"Kids?" Mom laughed.

"Hush," Dad started again. "We'll make some calls and see what who we can get together tonight. Have bit of a send off dinner."

"A feast!" Mom said jumping up from the dining room table and running toward her shelf of cook books.

"A feast?" Dad rolled his eyes.
