Chapter 28~ "What happend last night?"

-Maddy-

I put on my party outfit and curled my hair. I did my smoky eye makeup with a bright red lipstick. My phone dinged. "I'm outside xoxo," the text from Ava read. I put on my black heels and grabbed my purse along with my phone. I said bye to my aunt and uncle and walked out to Ava's car. I climbed in. "Aw you look so good!" she exclaimed. "You too!" I exclaimed back.

"I'm ready to get so drunk!" Ava said giggling. "Ah yeah!" I chimed in. The truth is I just needed something to get Luke off my mind, since he's been on it 24/7, and I think Ava knows it. I just hope I don't something I'll regret later on.

-The Next Morning-

My eyes fluttered open the light blinding me. I sat up slowly and didn't recognize anything. I looked around at my unfamiliar surroundings. I was in a bed with a black blanket. I felt as if I wasn't alone. I looked next to me to see a boy around 18 or 19 with blonde hair. What happened last night? I quickly and quietly got out of the bed and went to the small bathroom in the room. When I got to the bathroom I realized I was only in my bra and underwear.

I started panicking slightly not knowing what had happened. "Maddy?" I heard a man's voice say.  "Are you okay?" it asked. I slowly opened the door and popped my head out using the door as a shield over my body. "Now, Maddy, come on you weren't this shy last night," he said with a slight smirk. "Well, in my defense, I have no clue what happened last night," I said. His expression dropped, "Oh."

"I'm so sorry- oh and could you hand me my clothes?" I asked pointing to the pile of clothes on the floor. "Uh- yeah sure," he said picking up my clothes handing me them. "Thanks," I muttered. I closed the bathroom door and put my clothes on.

Once I was fully clothed I opened the bathroom door and walked out. "I'm sorry about last night and right now," I said nervously. "It's okay," he said. "Um, could you tell me what even happened?" I asked. "Not much to tell really we met at the party and started talking and drinking. You told me about your ex and I told you about mine. Then we came back here and one thing led to another and now we're here," he said slightly laughing.

"I actually felt like we had something last night," he said. I moved over to the bed and sat next him. "Hey, how about you drive me back to my aunt's so I could change and we go get some breakfast," I said nudging him slightly. A smile spread across his lips. "Yeah, that would be great," he said standing up. He walked over to his drawer and grabbed a white t-shirt. "Hey, you never gave me you name, well again that is," I said. "Oh my names Cody," he said. "Cody, that's a great name," I said. "That's exactly what you said last night," he said laughing.

-One Year Later-

Cody and I have been dating for a year now and it's been a year since I left Australia and all my friends. Ava and I are still friends and today I get to met her boyfriend, who she's been dating now for a year or so. I got up and a threw on a pair of black skinny jeans and a nirvana shirt. January in Cali can be a little chilly. I slipped on my black converse and grabbed my phone sliding it into my back pocket.

I locked my apartment door and went to my car. I arrived at the local coffee shop where I was meeting Ava and her boyfriend. Cody was at work so it was just me. I wonder how Luke is doing? I know he's still in the band because they just started their world tour. I was on my phone looking through snapchat when I heard the bell on the door ring. I locked my phone and looked towards the door and I was shocked on who I saw walk through it.
