Chapter 18~ "You killed my mother?"

-Maddy-

He moved towards me. "Get away from me!" I spat, but he continued walking towards me. He rose his hand and smacked me. "Shut up," he said and he withdrew a knife and cut my hands free. "W-where is my mom?" I asked. "Your mother?" he asked laughing evilly scarring me a little. "What did you do to her!" I said through gritted teeth.

"She was getting in the way of you and me princess," he said touching my cheek with the back of his hand. "What are you talking about?" I asked pushing his hand away. "Have you ever wondered why I didn't want you with other boys? Well, that's because I am the only guy you need to be with," he said. "What does this have to do with my mother?" I asked raising an eyebrow. "I was getting to that. In order for me to have you, a. I needed to be the only man you love, and b. I had to get rid of your mother," he smirked. "You killed my mother?" I asked afraid of the answer. He let out a loud evil laugh. My eyes filled with tears.

"You bastered!" I yelled standing up. I went up to him and with all my anger I pushed him causing him to hit the wall. He looked down and smirked. "I love my woman fiesty," he said and before I knew it I was pushed roughly causing me to stumble and fall. He bent down, by me, centimeters away from my face. "Around here I'm in charge remember that," he said standing up. "Now go to bed," he said as he turned off the light.

I opened my eyes the light blinding me. I sat up and looked towards the other bed to find it empty. I took this chance and ran towards the door. When I was about to open it two arms turned me around and slammed me against the door. His arm was pressed against my throat making it hard to breathe. I started gasping for air, the last thing I heard was, "Thought you could get away didn't you?"

-Luke-

When the police got there we stopped one of them to talk. "Excuse me?" I said tapping the one on the shoulder. "Yes?" he said. "Yeah, we might know who killed her and kidnapped her daughter, Maddy," I said. "Is that so? Well, we shouldn't talk about it here. How about you guys come to the station?" he said. We all nodded.

We all climbed into the car and followed a police officer to the police station. Once we got there they took us all into a questioning room. "So, give me some details on Maddy," he said opening his notepad. "She's short," Ashton said. "Brown curly hair," Calum added. "Beautiful hazel eyes," Michael said. I sat there and listened to everyone list details about Maddy, which in the end made me miss her even more.

"Now, tell me who do you think took her and killed her mother?" he asked. "Her dad," Nicole said. "How do you know?" he asked. This angered me, "How do we know? Where is he? His wife is dead and his daughter is missing, yet he is no where to be found. Who is the only one who has access to their house and a tracker on Maddy's phone? Her dad. That's how we know." The officer seemed taken back at my sudden out burst. "Well, shall we get to work then?"

When I woke up I found my arms, above my head, tied to the bed frame. "Oh, good your awake," my father said smirking. "Ah, it feels nice to know I'm the only man you do and will ever love," he sighed. This comment made me laugh. He looked at me confused. "I don't love you. I hate you to be exact," I spat. "I can make that hate turn to love, my darling. At least you don't already love someone else," he said. "You're wrong," I said. "About what, dear?" "I do love someone else. I love Luke." He stood up and rubbed his hands together. "Then I guess, I'm gonna need to take care of this Luke."
