It was honestly the weirdest thing to walk back into the gym today. Everybody had been so excited to see each other and meet the new team. But I realised in meeting the new team, my best friend in the whole world wouldn't be joining me this year. We had been on a team together for years and all of a sudden we weren't together. It broke my heart.
In case you were wondering my best friend is Peyton. She is honestly perfection in human form. She was Cheetahs point flyer for 3 years and is now on Jungle Cats. I don't understand why the coaches put her on that team, as I'd rather her here on Cheetahs than some new random team, but what the coach says goes.
Anyway back to reality. I walk over to one of the best guys on the team. Matt Smith. Now Matt and I are incredibly close, I mean when he comes and stays the night at mine, we sleep in the same bed. And NO Matt isn't gay. Unfortunately for me he wasn't single either. "Hey Matty , you excited to be back?" " Of course Jams I get to see your pretty face 3 times a week" " Haha Matty very funny, sometimes I wonder where you get that humour" " Carly of course". Matt must of noticed my face drop when he said that because, he went to back track but there was honestly no point, I just smiled and walked away.
I plopped down next to one of the best flyers in our team, Ashley. I could always confine in Ashley, as she did the same for me. “What happened baby girl?" “Matt obviously" " What did he say this time?" “That he got his humour from Carly"... “Oh baby I doubt he meant it like that, Matt was funny even before Carly" " No but the way he said, he sounded so in love and happy that it made me feel like I could never make him that happy", " I hate what he has turned me into Ash" " Hey, its not like he’s going to be in your stunt group is it haha" " Well the way things are going I wouldn't count on it..."
Little did I know I was going to be in for a huge surprise in the next 10 minutes...
