I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing; I quickly looked at the contact and saw Matt calling me. I was confused as he had just hung up on me last night which I didn’t understand seeing as he wanted me to tell him about it. “What” I answered with a bit of sassiness. “I just wanted to say sorry for hanging up on you, I really didn’t like hearing about how good GT was and stuff” “Well you asked didn’t you, I’m going now because it’s 8 in the morning and I’m tired bye” I hung up cutting of whatever Matt was going to say and went back to bed.
I woke up at around 10 feeling a lot more refreshed than I had earlier this morning. I almost wanted to call Matt back but something was holding me back and I had no idea what it was. I got out of bed and I quickly hopped in the shower and did my hair. I quickly put on a pair of crazy pants spankies, Nike sports bra, GT shirt and my nfinites in my cheer bag. I had a tumbling private with James later today so I could get up to date with the rest of the team, as they wanted everyone single member of the team to have a back back double which I had gotten but needed to work on it more. I quickly took two muesli bars and a banana and went to my car. I ate the banana and one of the bars on the way because I hadn’t eaten anything all day which was stupid. By the time I got to the my it was 10:45 and my private started at 11:00 which made me pretty happy because I’d gotten there with time to spare so I could stretch and o over the work I’d learnt last night.
When I got inside I saw Kalie sitting down and stretching. I ran up to her and gave her a huge hug, she reminded me so much of Peyton but she was better in a way. More understanding which I shouldn’t say about Peyton, but she hasn’t even tried to contact me since I moved which made me a bit upset. But I wasn’t one to make the first move, so I waited for her to do nothing. Kalie and I started going over the dance and the stunt sections so I had a better idea of what I was doing for training tomorrow. As soon as we went through it a couple of times, James and Santwon walked in and told me it was time for my private. I gave Kalie a quick hug and crossed to the mat on the other side of the gym where James and Santwon where waiting for me.
We started with making sure I could hit a back back double and a back whip double, which after 20 minutes I was able to hit and make look perfect. We then moved onto the tumbling pass that Kalie, Lexi and I would share. It was a combination of a roundoff double whip Arabian whip whip double. It was complex and I had never done anything like that but James and Santwon had faith in me and where happy with how it was going so far. After another 30 minutes I had perfected it all asides from the last three movements which where a little bit rusty. After another 10 minutes we called it time on the tumbling and started working on the stunts. They were harder than anything I’d ever done and I needed to make it good.
We had to press up into a handstand and then push off and pull not one but two front tucks out before landing in our bases hands. Now let me tell you I fell on my head about 5 times doing this but I didn’t give up. It was hard but I knew as soon as we hit it in the routine we couldn’t loose we would be invincible and they wouldn’t be able to catch up to us especially Wildcats which I really wanted to beat. Seeing as it was Carly’s team and they were a CA team. Their whole routine wasn’t nearly as hard as ours and I knew they wouldn’t be able to beat us.
We finished up the session at around 1:30 and I was trying to walk to my car which seemed so far away and I just couldn’t be bothered. But I was hungry and I needed food before I went hulk on everybody. I tended to do that when I was hungry. I was on my way to Whataburger when I realised I couldn’t eat it. I needed to be skinny if I was going to be a flyer and eating fattening food wouldn’t help. I turned the car around and quickly made my way home where I knew a crunchy grilled chicken salad was waiting for me to devour. I almost made an upset noise about having to eat healthy but I knew it was the only way to make me healthier and hopefully skinnier.
