"What!" Erics voice exploded the tiny one room house, bouncing off every wall making a deafening echo through the house. Domonic had just arrived at home from Susan's and had finished relaying his plans to Eric. Domonic sat at the foot of their dining room table and Eric at the front. Erics face was pale and filled with worry.

"I have to dad!" Domonic insisted, "I have to know what happened! Grandma won't talk about it and you were in prison so you don't know all the details!"

"No Domonic!" Eric begged, "You can't! It's far too close to Sampsons territory!"

"I'm only going to find out what happened!" Domonic growled, "Stop treating me like a child!"

This caused Eric to come flying from his chair slamming his fist on the table. Domonic knew he had gone too far in saying this to his dad and backed off the table.

"I may no longer be Alpha," Eric spat, "But I am still you father! Everything I do is to make a safer place for you!"

"I know dad," Domonic apologized, "I'm sorry, its just that this is very important to me!"

"It's okay," Eric breathed, "I just still see the little two-year-old that even then understood what was happening to your mom."

"Dad!" Domonic groaned, he hated baby stories of himself.

"Well if you insist on going," Eric began to stand but this time it was Domonics turn to fly off his cracker.

"NO!" Domonic barked, "I will not let you put yourself in danger! Your the only parent I have left!"

"I was just going to say," Eric spoke with caution, "That you at least shouldn't go alone! I won't hear, or watch, someone I love dies like Sally did again!"

Domonic gasped, Eric never said Domonics adopted moms name. The only reason Domonic knew it was Suzan couldn't stop talking about her when Eric wasn't around.

"Grandma said the same thing," Domonic, still in awe stared at his father, "Dad-."

"I'll go!" Ace burst through the door cutting Domonic off.

"I will as well," Josh walked in right behind Ace.

"Were you guys eavesdropping?" Domonic laughed, "On the Alphas house?"

"Yes," Aces said sheepishly.

"with any other Alpha you both would see the whip!" Domonic said threateningly, "Um Ace, who's at your post!"

"Jake wanted to take watch fro a bit." Ace said carefully.

"Domonic," Sharren appeared from behind Josh, "keep Josh safe, please. I cannot join you for fear of hearing my friends die again."

"Alright," Domonic smiled, "I will, you just look after that girl you got. Emma seems like a sweet girl."

"Yes sir," A sadness left the house with Sharren as she kissed Josh and went home.

"I need some sleep," Domonic said, "You all should consider getting some too. With Sampson back we have to be on our toes every second we are on our own!"

"Yes, Alpha!" The group went out the door and broke off heading to different areas of town.

The house was silent as Domonic shut the door. Eric just stared at his son looking like, to Domonic, he thought it was the last time he would ever see Domonic again. Placing a hand on Erics shoulder, Domonic wrapped Eric in a hug.

"Don't worry dad," Domonic said into his dad's hair, "I'll come home!"

"I know you will!" Eric said pulling Domonic away and patting him on the shoulder. Now you go on to bed well I fix up something for you to take with you."

"I'll just sleep out here," Domonic told Eric as he lay on the sofa, "Night."

"Night son," Eric replied as he threw a blanket over his son pulling it so it covered Domonics feet and Shoulders. Domonic was out in about a minute. But what he dreamed disturbed him greatly, because a werewolves dream was usually a warning about a danger to come.
