The change was immediate. Domonic suddenly felt weak, he could fell the power of his words leaving, his strength and might as well.
This didn't happen when dad gave up being Alpha... Was all Domonic thought. And as he looked up he saw Sampson appear from behind Marcus, as if he had always been there.
"No!" Domonic managed to grunt, "this can't be...."
"Oh," Sampson laughed, a wicked smile cracking his face, "but it is!"
Josh came charging in not knowing Sampson was there or even close to this place. His face was red from running and he was out of breath but when he saw Sampson he froze.
"Look at the great Alpha now," Sampson scoffed, "oh wait you're not an Alpha anymore are you?"
Domonic saw Josh before Sampson and tried to silently tell him to run but Sampson saw and did the same thing to Josh as he had done to Domonic.
"NO!" Domonic howled, "leave them alone! Its me you want!"
"Domonic!" Josh managed to force out.
An evil grin cracked Sampsons face. It twisted his expression and caused fear in both wolves hearts.
"To bad, I wanted a fight out of you, oh well," Sampson chuckled, "I planned on just taking you anyway."
"Josh," Domonics words were weak, "keep her safe." Domonic knew that his instructions were few but he also knew Josh would know he meant Suzan. The last thing he saw was Josh nod before everything went black.
* * *
Domonic woke three hours later in a cell. He lay looking up at the dark ceiling his arms at his sides. Turning his head he saw two sleeping forms in the cell next to him. He couldn't tell who they were though.
"Domonic?" a small female voice rang out, "is that you? Tell me its not you!"
"It's me," Domonic managed to mutter.
"Oh no!" Sallys ghost appeared and next to her Erics. A ghostly tear fell down her cheek.
"Son....." Erics voice was worried for his son, knowing no god came from being in this place, "you have to fight him son!"
"If I fight then Sampson will hurt the pack!" Domonic barked, "I gave myself to Sampson so the pack can't be hurt."
Sally began to cry. Her proudness of Domonic showed in her face but the pain that he would be in made her face cringe.
"Domonic I can't just let you be hurt!" Eric growled, "please son..."
"I'm sorry..." Domonic watched as his parents faded.
"Just remember," Eric said before disappearing, "no ones here to shoot this time."
Right as Eric left Janaces voice came up, "Domonic? How did they find you!?"
Domonic explained what happened to little wolf and then where they went for help and that it turned out to be a camp for Sampsons pack.
"What about Ace?" Janace sounded worried.
"He's fine," Domonic said then corrected himself, "he was when I left anyway."
"Alright. Get some sleep Domonic, you look dead."
Domonic nodded and went to sleep but before long was awoken by a guard kicking him right in the ribs. The guard laughed when Domonic grunted in pain and Janace growled.
"Shut up dog!" The guard shouted at Janace then demanded that Domonic stand. Domonic smiled and stood, well braking the guards nose with his fist. The guard cursed and kicked Domonic back down.
"Well," Sampsons leering voice bounced off the walls, "you got a bit of your strength back didn't you!?"
Domonic spat at Sampson his eyes red hot with anger. As he went to speak he felt the weakness take hold again. Janace gasped and growled, she had never seen someone have that affect on Domonic.
"Oh," Sampson taunted as his hunters scoffed, "look at the all so strong and scary Little Wolf alpha now! Cowering at the mere sight of me!"
Sampsons jeers earned laughs from his hunters and growls from Janace. Domonic began blacking out as he did he felt the two hunters grab his arms and drag him through the halls. Soon he could only see dark, to weak to hold his eyes open. A door creaked in the distance and he was lifted onto a table.
"Strap him down and leave me!"
Domonics mind told him to fight and soon fear filled him to the point that he did. He pulled and ripped at the leather strap but the straps went untouched. Domonic stopped moving when a coldness touched his forearm. A sharp jab made Domonic flinch as Sampson leered over him.
"You think you can keep me from gaining power?" sampson Laughed as he injected the silver into Domonic. Domonic tried not to scream but soon his screams reached the ears of his pack back at Mt. Luna.
