Ava's POV
It was a day later when Ashton rang me. I had been listening to Lauren talk about how great Calum was and how they were going on another date Saturday. Yay for them. I hadn't spoken to Calum and I didn't want to. I couldn't even begin to say how I felt. So I'm not going to say it.
Well Ashton rang, I even considered hanging up but I thought to hell with it, answer it.
So I did.
'Hello.' I answered, not trying to sound eager.
'Um hey who is this?' He asked confused.
'It's Ava? I thought you knew who I am?'
'Uh no, I just found the number in my phone.'
'Oh.'
'Why? Am I supposed to know who you are?'
'I guess so yeah.' Trying to hide my disappointment.
'Hey Ava, wasn't it? Meet me at the Starbucks on 6th street in an hour okay?'
'Okay.' And then he hung up. Not knowing what had just happened, I ran upstairs to my room.
Getting dressed was the hardest decision. Do I dress up? Like dresses or anything, or do I turn up in my ripped jeans and an old tank?
I chose the second option.
Picking my black ripped jeans out of the wardrobe, a vest top and a green day tank, I made my way to the bathroom. Putting them on, I felt I looked okay.
Straightening my naturally curly hair would take hours so I decided to just leave it down putting a bit of it into a pony tail and leaving the rest down, going over my shoulders.
Deciding not to do any make up because if he didn't like the natural me then he can go f**k himself. In the most polite way possible of course.
I decided to start heading my way to the Starbucks seeing as it was a good 15 minute walk from my house. Although it was practically Lauren's too, I'd wake up in the morning and she'd be there. She's basically moved into the spare room.
The air outside was warm, making it a pleasant walk. I had my shades on, hoping I wouldn't be recognised.
No one saw me the whole way to 6th street and I made it to the door when my phone rang.Caller ID - The Ed
I decide to answer it, Ed's been like my brother since I met him two years ago on the red carpet to a movie I starred in. He always gives the best advice and our phone calls are the best.
"Hey Ed, what's up?" I answered.
"El-El-Ellie cheated on me." He cried.
"What no! What a bitch!"
"With that Irish idiot from that band!"
"What Niall?"
"Yeah him! And it's not even like we were both on tour. We were staying on the same fucking hotel floor, and I know I wasn't looking for a promise or commitment but it wasn't just fine and I thought she was different-"
"Ed."
"Yeah A?"
"Go right a song about it."Ashton's POV
I waited in the Starbucks for a familiar face. Like I remembered bits from that night. I remembered walking home with a beautiful girl who's hand fitted perfectly in mine.
But I couldn't remember it fully.
When I found her number I was confused how it got there, so I decided to just ring it and find out.
Her voice was beautiful and so familiar. Maybe I remembered more than I thought? I don't know. The bell above the door chimed as someone walked in.
She was beautiful, her dark curly hair spilled over her shoulders and her face was so pretty I couldn't take my eyes off of her. Her eyes met mine and she let out a small smile. Walking my way I asked myself; was this Ava? I mean she was so beautiful how could I manage to talk to someone like her.
Reaching my table she said:
"Hey Ash, how are you?" She took a seat opposite me, and her smile was wide and contagious. I couldn't help but grin.
"I'm good thanks, and yourself?"
"Also good. So what did you want to talk about?" She asked me.
"I- uh. I forgot." I admitted sheepishly.
"Oh." She put her head down, her hair covering her gorgeous face.
"Your beautiful." I blurted out. She lifted her head and smiled that smile.
"Your not so bad yourself Irwin."
"I see you like Green Day?"
"No I hate them." She said, her face serious.
"Oh."
"I'm joking you nugget." She laughed, a noise that was soon to be music to my ears.
"Oh right haha. What other bands do you like?"
"All Time Low. Panic! Twenty one pilots. There's this other band but they're quite shit."
"What bands that then?" Expecting her to say something like Black Veil Brides because they are truthfully shit.
"Um 5 seconds of summer of something like that..." My face fell.
"I'm joking again you idiot! You should have seen your face!" She laughed hard and I joined in, feeling refreshed for the first time in weeks. We stayed talking for the next four hours, and she then became my favourite person who I knew I would easily be able to fall in love with.
Ava's POV
It started getting dark around seven and that's when we left. He had made me laugh so much my stomach hurt, I'm so glad I decided to come. He'd become one of my favourite people instantly and I knew I would easily be able to fall in love with him, he was so cute it'd be hard not to.
We stood talking for ten minutes under the lamppost on 6th street, me grinning like a fool.
When he leant in and kissed me, it felt as if thousands of fireworks were going off between us. I placed my hand behind his neck, bringing him closer to me. Our lips moved in sync and it was passionate and not rushed. It was perfect.
Walking home, I felt nothing could ruin my mood but that's when I saw him.
