Ava's POV
3 hours later I was sitting in a boarding area of an airport waiting to fly to Bali.
Calum had helped me throw a lot of stuff in a suitcase that he'd pulled from the attic for me. Hopefully the clothes we chose were weather suitable. I could always buy some more when we were there anyway.
Well I was sitting with a hard plastic chair digging in my back in 30 degree heat when Calum decided to sit next to me and simply say:
"Hey."
"Hi." I replied.
"Why do you hate me?" he looked at me with longing in his puppy dog eyes.
"I don't." I huffed.
"Don't give me that shit Ava, you've been avoiding me for the past two weeks without a single fucking explanation." I flinched as he said the last few words. Cal sounded so much like him. And in that split second, I got scared. I was petrified. I could sense that Calum had felt me tense up and he removed his hand from my wrist.
"Get away from me Calum." I whispered, holding back my tears.
"Av-" He started.
"Get away from me." I say through gritted teeth, determined not to make a scene in the middle of the airport. When he stayed next to me, on looking with tired and worried eyes, I decided that I would be the one to leave.
And that I did.
I walked away from Calum Hood and who knew if I'd be back to him.
He was addicting.
