Ava's POV
The camera I was stood before flashed in my eyes, making me squint a little.
"Okay, you can go back to your cell now." Officer Kennedy told me and I nodded, hanging my head a little.
As you've already guessed; yes, I am in prison. Apparently 'assaulting' someone in a public place is a violation against the law.
So here I was, in a prison cell with Calum who was holding an ice pack up to his nose.
"Remind me why you're here again?" I ask Calum, my voice sounding almost bored.
"Can't have you running rampage in here as well can I?" he smirked.
"I'm not afraid to hit you again." I snapped. His face fell and I almost felt sorry for him. Almost. I still pretty much hated him.
"Ava?" he asked me.
"Yes Cal?" I replied.
"I'm sorry. I never meant to make the question so personal, I didn't know what had happened and I didn't know that man was your dad and I'm really really sorry." He rambled, all in one breath. He looked so genuine when he said it, that I believed him. I shuffled closer towards him and rested my head on his shoulder.
"I should have told you." I mumbled. He didn't say anything just put his arms around my shoulder and hugged me tight.
"Don't let me be gone." I mumbled sleepily as my head hit his lap and slumber took over my body.
