I put on a final coat of lipstick and admired my reflection in my mirror. I wore an off the shoulder black top with some black skinny jeans and black stilettos. For make up I did some foundation, eyeliner with wings, some nude eye shadow and some pale pink lipstick. It all seemed to go together well and for the first time in a while, I felt happy with my appearance. I smiled.
The time was just before six, Calum was due at six to pick me up. We were going to this fancy Italian place a few blocks away, on the 'good side' of town. I told him I'd be happy with Nando's or even just a pizza at home.
"No. I'm going all out." He had told me with a reassuring smile.
He was sweet. He was always thoughtful and never made rash decisions, sometimes yes he could be childish but he could also be very mature, a side that no one has really seen.
The doorbell rang pulling me out of my thoughts. I slowly made my way down the stairs, determined not to fall in my high heels.
Calum stood at the door in a black suit and tie with flowers in his hand. My jaw dropped, quite literally. He looked amazing. It was different from his ripped jeans and band t-shirt look, which I liked very much but he looked different tonight. And very very hot.
"You'll catch flies." He told me, making my blush take over my whole body. Oh what a night this would be.
