**CHAPTER SONG: Kiiara - Gold**
When I gained consciousness again, it was because of someone breathing softly down the back of my neck and a hand stroking lightly over my still-healing scar. My eyes fluttered open to reveal the clock on my bedside table reading 9:32AM.
"Good morning Princess." Jay's morning voice murmured from behind me, right next to my ear.
"Morning." I managed, sounding like I'd been drinking acid. "My morning voice isn't the most attractive one." I confessed, turning over in Jay's arms so that I was facing him.
"You say that as if I don't already know." He chuckled lightly and kissed my forehead. "How are you feeling this morning? I didn't hurt you too much or-"
"Shh." I muttered, kissing him harshly on the lips. "I'm not made of glass. Last night was amazing and nothing will take that away from us. You're just as amazing as you were two years ago."
He smiled and closed his eyes, breathing in my scent and holding my naked body against his. I joined him in enjoying the moment, appreciating the fact that life with him was risky so if our relationship was really going to work, I had to cherish moments like these, because after all, nothing was certain.
"I have some things to organise and take care of today, but I've organised for a hairdresser and beautician to come and pamper you before we leave for London." Jay explained, stroking my hair absentmindedly as he spoke, as if he didn't realise he was doing it. "We'll leave at about 3PM, you and I will drive up in one car and eight of the guys will be coming with us in two other cars. Can you pack for me whilst I'm busy?"
"Hmm I'll see what I can do." I teased, pressing a soft kiss to the centre of his chest before sitting up and clambering over him to get out of the bed.
"Hey Jessie?" He asked as I stood up, making me turn to look at him.
"Yeah?" I replied softly, not missing his wandering gaze down my body.
"I love you." He said with such certainty that I wanted to cry.
"I love you too." I whispered, letting a small smile grace my lips before I turned away and walked into the ensuite to shower.
"I agree, brunette was the right choice." Ellen, the hairdresser, said to me as she turned me around so that I could see myself in the mirror.
"Whoa." I breathed, seeing myself with long brunette hair for the first time in two years. I looked so much more sophisticated and mature, I couldn't help but break out into a huge grin.
"You like it?"
"I love it." I continued to grin before turning and hugging Ellen, being careful not to catch my new acrylic nails on her jumper.
