Chapter 11

"Ian, I can do it." I place my hand over his and smile at him.

"I just want you to be careful, that's all." He tells me and I kiss his cheek.

"I know, but I'm fine." I assure him and start walking up the stairs to my bedroom. He follows behind me, carrying my bag and jacket.

"I'm going to sleep so good tonight. And I cant wait to get in the shower and shower for real. I'll probably take an hour." I say and Ian laughs.

"Well why you shower, I'm going to make dinner. Your moms at the store right now getting everything I needed. I've missed cooking." He says sitting my bag down.

"Cook all you want, please. I'm over hospital food." I smirk. I ended up having to stay 2 extra days for tests.

"Oh I will." He smirks back.

I walk over to my dresser and pull out new pajamas to put on after the shower and walk over to my bed.

"Do you want anything before your shower?" Ian asks.

"A kiss." I smile and he smirks walking over to me.

"That I can do." He leans down and kisses me gently.

"I love you Ian." I say after we pull apart.

"And I love you." He smiles.

I hear the front door open and mom walk inside. Ian stands back up and walks down to the kitchen. I get in the shower. And that's where I stay for 35 minutes.

"How was your shower?" Ian asks when I walk into the kitchen.

"Amazing. And this smells amazing, what are you making?" I ask him wrapping my arms around him from behind.

"Southern style burgers with fries and veggies." He says turning to face me.

"And for dessert, I got ice cream and brownies." My mom comes into the kitchen.

"How are you feeling honey?" She asks.

"I'm good now, I'm happy to be home." I hug her.

"Well Ian is doing a good job with dinner." She smiles at him.

"I'll set the table." I say walking to grab the plates.

"I'll do it honey, go sit down." Mom says and I shake my head.

"Mom, I wanna do it. I'm tired of sitting and laying down. I did enough of that." I say and she smiles.

"Okay, but I'm cleaning the kitchen when dinner is over." She pushes me to the side.

Once the food is done Ian brings everything over to the table and sits down beside me. Alex walks in just as we are about to eat and joins us.

"Alex you need to come stay in Atlanta with us for a few days." Ian says and I place my hand over his.

"Yeah that would be awesome. When are you guys going back?" He asks.

"The day after Christmas. We need to get Nina moved into my place. And once she's settled in you can come when ever." Ian tells him.
