I've been at Penguin Random House 7 months now. I have two clients at the moment I'm working with. Big clients if I say so myself. I have Colleen Hoover who, is just the best young adult writer I've had the chance of getting to know personally. I've read all of her books and her new one. And I'm also working with a children's book author. Everyone at work is also really friendly like I was told. We're one big family and they took me in with happy faces. I'm happy here.

Ian and I are planning on buying a house. To get us out of the little condo we are living in right now.

"Hi Mo." Mo climbs up in my lap on the couch and I scratch his head. I'm waiting on Ian to get home from work so we can start our weekend. He has a surprise for me. When does he not have a surprise for me? I text Candice back that I'll see her Sunday and we can finally take Ellie Kate to the aquarium together.

Ellie Kate is 7 months now. And growing like a weed. She took after her mommy with looks, but has Joes tanned skin. She's the cutest dark toned, blue eyed, blonde headed baby I've ever laid eyes on.

I hear the door unlock and Ian steps inside waving over at me.

"Hi babe." He says and takes his shoes off at the door.

"How was work?" I ask and he leans down to kiss me. He sits down on the couch and scratches mo on the head.

"It was busy tonight. But I had you to look forward to coming home to." He smiles.

"Well I'm glad you're home. We can start our weekend now." I say scooting over close to him. He wraps his arm around my back and I lay my head on his chest.

"Your surprise isn't until tomorrow. But tonight we can do what ever you want." He says.

"Okay, let's go mini golf." I smirk. Ian looks at me and rolls his eyes. Last time we went mini golfing I accidentally hit him with the ball.

"Please. I promise not to hit you again. You just need to stay behind me and out of the way." I laugh.

"No I need to stay in the car while you play." He smirks before kissing me.

"Do you want to make dinner here or do you want to go out?" He asks.

"We need to go to the store. So we can eat out tonight." I sit up to face him.

"Can we go to that 50's diner downtown? I want some of their fries and a chocolate shake." I smile. That's one of my favorite places to go eat.

"If that's what you want, that's where we will go." Ian smiles and stands up. He stretches his arms above his head and yawns.

"You aren't to tired are you? We can just stay in and order takeout." I tell him. He shakes his head and pulls me up to my feet.

"No. This is our only weekend we both aren't slammed with work. We are making the best of it." He kisses my temple.

"I'm going to go change and we can leave soon, okay?" He says and I nod. A couple minutes later he comes down stairs and we leave.

"Now step back like..12 feet so I don't hit you again." I smirk and Ian laughs. He moves back a little and I hit the golf ball down the trail and it goes in the hole. I jump up with excitement and Ian wraps his arms around me from behind.

"Looks like you won." He says against my neck.

"Guess so." I smile. He kisses my neck and we grab the golf balls and take them back to the front.

"Let's get some ice cream." Ian says and we walk up to the ice cream shop. He orders a chocolate chip and I get a cookie dough.

"I've had fun tonight." I sit down beside him on a bench.
