"Can we go somewhere today? I need to leave the house. I only have till next week before my life is taking over with this one." I place my hands on my belly after I sit down in Ian's lap. His hands slide to my hips and holds me in place.

"Where do you want to go?" His lips meet mine and I move my hands on to his shoulders.

"Anywhere. Away from here. I've been home for a week straight. And you're to blame." I poke his chest.

"I just want you to be well rested before the baby comes. I'm just taking care of you babe." He smiles and I know he is. But I'm going crazy.

"Okay, after today I promise I will stay put. But please let's go." I stand up and start pulling his arms until he's standing with me.

"Fine fine. You wearing that?" Ian points to the dirty Tshirt I have on and I laugh.

"Funny. I'm changing into a dress and then we can go." I head up the stairs to our bedroom and walk into the closet. I pull out a sundress, and grab my flats.

"Ian!" I shout for him and I hear his footsteps come running up the stairs.

"What? Everything okay?" He walks over to me.

"I can't put my shoes on. And I don't even know if they'll fit. My feet are so swollen today." I groan and kick my feet.

"Here. Give me." Ian teachers for my flats and slides them on my feet. I smile when I know they fit and hop down from the bed.

"Ready to go?" He asks and I tie my hair up in a pony tail.

"Ready." I walk out of the bedroom and grab my phone from the dresser.

"Let's call Candice and Joe. See if they wanna tag along. I think her mom has Ellie Kate anyway." I suggest. I dial her number and wait for her to pick up.

"Are you in labor?" She asks as soon as she picks up. I laugh and look at Ian.

"No not yet. But Ian's letting me leave the house, and I wanted to see if you and joe want to tag along with us for an outing?" I ask her hoping she says yes. I need my best friend as well today.

"Where are you going?" She asks.

"Anywhere. We can go to the park and eat a lot of junk food." I watch Ian's expression and smirk. He hates when I eat junk food. Says it's not good for the baby. But that's what I'm craving so that's what the baby gets.

"Sounds good to me. This baby has been craving weird stuff today and maybe I'll find something decent out there." She says.

"Okay! We will pick you guys up in about 20 minutes." I say. We say our goodbyes and I hang up.

20 minutes later we pull into Candice and Joes drive way and Ian honks.

"You know she hates when you do that?" I eye Ian and he laughs.

"Anything and everything annoys that girl right now. I'm so glad you aren't like that. I got lucky and just have to deal with your tears every time one of those commercials about abused and abandoned animals comes on." Ian jokes with me and and I roll my eyes.

"Well you can be blamed for half of that reason. It takes two people to get in this situation." I adjust in my seat and Ian reaches for my hand.

"And I love every minute of it. You're carrying out baby. We made a baby." He says.

Candice waddles out her front door and down the path to the car. Joe trailing behind her.

"Morning." She smiles when she gets inside the car.
