Piper Mclean and Annabeth Chase walked out of the Athena cabin, Annabeth smiling and laughing while Piper speaking to her as if telling a joke. Then shaking her head to wear off the last laugh, Annabeth asked Piper, "So, how long are you and Jason staying?"

Piper turned her head to the blonde-haired girl and smiled at her question, "As long as we can I guess," she told Annabeth, shrugging, "we're trying for a month or two."

Annabeth nodded at Piper's answer, the daughter of Aphrodite and her boyfriend were currently working their way of traveling around the world. Going to places like Hawa'ii, California and Australia, the couple has been gone for about five months. Though there's no doubt people are happy for them and that they're seriously doing something dangerous since they have the son of Zeus with them. No biggie, really.

They're even buying things from all the places they've been too. Pins, keychains, T-Shirts and pens. Today, they're both wearing white shirts from Minnesota with matching sunglasses.

"Are you guys enjoying all the trips?" Annabeth asked her friend as she absentmindedly kicked a rock while walking.

It was Piper's turn to nod, "Oh yeah, definitely. Though, sometimes Jason can get a bit carried away with the fact that we're visiting a place. Taking pictures every three seconds, pointing at everything every three seconds, losing his glasses every three seconds." the two girls laughed at the last one, "Though, anything there is kind of alien to us, you know? It's really the first time we can travel to places without having to be on a quest and fight a giant." Piper laughed again, making Annabeth tilt her head and smille at the thought of the couple in different places.

And that was when Leo came running up to the two demigods, "Hey Annabeth!" he yelled before coming up at a close difference with them. Annabeth noticed he was covered in more sweat and oil than usual and his goggles were tied onto his belt.

"Yeah?" Annabeth answered, looking at Leo quizzically, "what is it?"

"Someone has asked me to ask you to go over to the big house. A bit of a surprise might be waiting for you may I add." Leo grinned, tapping his hands on his legs.

Annabeth's eyebrows scrunched up together, "Leo, please don't — "

Stopping her in the middle of her sentence, Leo lifted his hands up and shook them in dismissal, "Oh no missy, it's not from me obviously. It's from your secret admirer." Leo said smirking, making Annabeth let out a breath.

Of course the secret admirer was Percy, who else would call themselves someone's "secret admirer" when they're dating that person already? Annabeth made a mental note in her head to help him with that later.

Annabeth crossed her arms and began to open her mouth when Piper grabbed her by the arm, "Oh c'mon, let's go, you should be feeling lucky. Jason would — oh sorry is — too stupid to do this kind of stuff for me." And when Annabeth tried to stay put, Piper pulled her a bit harder making Annabeth almost topple over.

Then after relentless dragging, they finally reached the Big House.

Annabeth's first thought was, what the heck? because when she looked around, about sixty campers were crowded around something in front of them. Annabeth squeezed through the crowd, and on the way, almost knocking people over and stepping on their feet.

When she finally saw what — no, who was in the front, Annabeth felt like burying her head into the ground from embarrassment and smiling until her cheeks ached at the same time

In front of the large crowd, was Percy holding a guitar from a platform above them.

When Annabeth started to make her way closer to the somewhat stage, Percy's twinkling sea-green eyes found her, making him burst into a grin. Annabeth saw he was also talking into a microphone "Hi Annabeth!" Percy waved at her, making her face burn, "So, I know our anniversary is like, two months away but I couldn't exactly wait. Don't kill me, I love you, Wise Girl."

Then, Annabeth saw Percy open his dang mouth and start singing.

That sweet voice that always calmed her down during her worst nightmares. That soothing sound that always seemed to lift her heart up in the most heart wrenching moments. It always made her feel better, especially with the song he was singing.

"I know I stand in line until you think you have the time to spend the evening with me."

Annabeth's mouth erupted into a grin as she immediately made her way to the stage and sit by him.

"And if we go someplace to dance I know that there's a chance you won't be leaving with me."

The camper's cheers grew louder and louder. Smiling and laughing to the sweet sound of Percy and Annabeth's melodic voices.

"And afterwards we drop into a quiet little place and have a drink or two
And then I go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like 'I love you'."

As soon as the end of the song came, Percy turned to Annabeth with a huge grin plastered on his face. "I can't believe you did this," Annabeth whispered, smiling at him with her hand placed on his cheek.

Percy laughed a little and looked down at their linked hands before whispering, "I just wanted to show everyone how thankful I am for you."

hey guys! I kind of decided to edit this once more because I wasn't happy with the last one. I hope you enjoyed the little headcanon I put in this one-shot because personally, I really like the headcanon that percy and annabeth can sing.
