what's happening? :
annabeth & percy are famous actors, but what will happen when they both get casted in the same production?

[ part one ]

The click clack on the concrete from her heels annoyed Annabeth as much as it probably did for the people she was shoving by to get past them.

Her feet were in so much pain she almost felt like cutting them off. (It's what you get when you decide to run in heels.) There were beads of sweat ready to run down her face one by one and her hair was getting messier by the second.

Annabeth Chase was going to be late.

Yes, she's accepted it while running what feels like a marathon but nevertheless was she going to get a mouthful of screams by her manager.

She decided to stop for a second, pushing a hand through her locks and panting. She'd never been late before, Annabeth was always ten minutes early — sometimes an hour. Taking responsibility for her career was important these days, one wrong move and you're out.

She continued on running.

Annabeth knew being late wasn't much, she knew that people like her were late all the time. But Annabeth has — no, had — a clean slate. Looking back at this with her perfect 'always on time' thing and only to see that she was late once and only once will make her feel horrible about herself forever.

She regretted a lot of what she did last night. And the fact that it led up to her sprinting down streets full of people like a complete psycho made her regret it even more. She never usually drank, hadn't in a long time, in fact — until last night. But Annabeth had her reasons, she always did.

After running down a few more blocks, more and more people were starting to call out to her. She felt guilty having to run past them, Annabeth always stopped for her fans but if she didn't continue running she wouldn't exactly have anymore fans to do that with.

"Is that Annabeth Chase?"

"Can I have a picture?"

"OH MY GOD!"

"Ms. Chase!"

Annabeth's head whipped behind her so fast at the voice she was suprised she didn't get whiplash. She stopped abruptly, almost falling over on her front because of her heels.

On the road beside her, her black limo stood with Annabeth's driver, Glenn. He was waving outside the driver's window, "Ms. Chase!"

She let out a breath of relief, smiling. Jogging over softly to the door, Annabeth tried to ignore the droves of people starting to crowd around her and the car.

Annabeth immediately slumped onto the leather seats once she got into the car with a thump, tired out of her mind and still panting heavily.

"You're late," Glenn comments, starting the car again.

Annabeth merely grunts in response and closes her eyes, leaning back onto the seat even more.

"Lily's going to kill you," Glenn murmurs in a sing-song voice. He taps on the wheel and grins to himself knowingly.

Annabeth inhales. "I know."

"You also look like crap," He says.

She sits up and shoots a glares at Glenn who's smiling cheekily to himself. Annabeth runs a hand down her face before getting her purse to fix her makeup. She might aswell look decent when Lily's ready to throw a stapler at her.

They arrive at the studio only minutes later so Annabeth starts to gather her stuff, Glenn stops her abruptly with a question.

"So why were you late, Miss 'Perfect Attendence'?" Glenn ponders, now smirking.

Annabeth huffs and opens the car but doesn't get out to answer his question a bit quietly, "Had a few drinks last night, that's all," she answers him.

Glenn snorts but doesn't stop her, letting her get out of the car peacefully.

Except that's when Lily comes face to face with Annabeth in the middle of the hallway.

When Lily's sharp blue eyes find her, her face immediately flushes with a deep red. Oh goodness.

Lily comes storming down the hall, "YOU'RE AN HOUR LATE!" she bellows, her voice echoing throughout the hall only making this situation another ounce scarier.

"Oh shit," Annabeth hears one of the makeup artists mutter from one of the dressing rooms.

Damn right...

"An hour," Lily seethes at Annabeth, "do you know how embarrassing that is? 'Oh she'll be here soon' my ass!"

People were starting to stare. Goodness, she always has to make a scene doesn't she?

Annabeth sighs and runs a hand through her hair in frustration, "Look, I'm sorry okay? It won't happen — "

"Annabeth!" Lily yells, her face as red as a cherry. Her eye's were wide as if testing me and I think ready to strangle me.

Hooray.

heyo! decided to rewrite this and the second part. i'll be making sure to do this with the whole book. i mean yeah, i'm going so slow that maybe an ant could do this faster than me but i'm going to make sure i do it.

i gave annabeth's driver a name this time. glenn. i chose that name because i recently started watching the walking dead and he's one of my favorites, please don't spoil? i know what happens in s7 though... :((

i will rewrite this whole story, i will! so sit tight and enjoy cringeworthy stories no more! (i hope)
