what's happening? :
annabeth & percy are famous actors, but what will happen when they both get casted in the same production?

When Percy auditioned and got the role he wanted for this production, he didn't realize or know the director was so keen on 'friendship' or 'get along or your fired' policy.

His Director, Declan Jacobs, had insisted on throwing a party on the first day so everyone could get to know eachother instead of actually working on the new show. The whole cast and staff was in fact invited.

Percy didn't exactly mind it, actually. He always thought that if you're not comfortable with who you're working with, then you shouldn't work there at all. He thought that your co-workers are one of the main and only priorities of enjoying your job.

Except, when Percy entered the studio he immediately figured out that his director did not know how to throw a proper, fun party.

There was one table throughout the whole entire room. It had a bag of chips, a small jar of dip and a couple plates with forks stacked atop it next to the bag. Very faint classical music was playing from a small stereo under the table and there were no things of decoration — no color. Yet, many people were still at the party, talking to eachother and nodding along.

Percy frowned at the sad view in dismay, it definitely wasn't enjoyable and it most certainly wasn't anything someone should ever call a party.

"What a party, eh?" a voice suddenly commented from beside him, suprising him completely.

Percy's eyes widened at the small blonde, who was now standing next to him while sipping a tall glass of what looked like wine. She sighed tiredly at the same view Percy was complaining about just seconds ago.

He managed to collect himself in time and smile down at her, "Right? So fun."

This time, the blonde lifted her head to grin kindly back at him. His annoyed mood immediately dimmed when a thought ran across his mind.

"Wait, aren't you that girl Lily was yelling at earlier? I didn't see the whole thing because I was too busy running away."

She then snorted at his words and turned away, shaking her head as she took another sip from her drink, "That was my manager, It was just that I'm not usually late."

"I could tell."

The girl grinned up back at Percy again before sticking her hand out confidently, "Annabeth."

He stared at her for a couple seconds in slight awe before doing the same, "Percy."

The two then stared at eachother for another handful of seconds before Annabeth let's out a small bark of a laugh in abrupt realization. She immediately covered her mouth in embarrassment.

It was kind of cute.

"You're my co-star!" she exclaimed making Percy's eyes widened in complete stupidity.

He was so stupid! He was literally looking at everyone's headshots like an hour ago! He should have known what she looked like, it had been so obvious!

"...Oh!"

Annabeth took her hand off her mouth and studied Percy for a bit, smiling slightly, "Yeah..."

It was then another weird and awkward pause of silence as the two gazed back at eachother, smiling with giddy feelings in both their stomach's.

"Ah! Annabeth and Percy! My soon-to-be iconic couple!" another voice from behind him decides to make Percy jump, this time also including Annabeth.

Annabeth and Percy turn to where Declan has now set his arm around Percy's shoulders, except having to lift himself up a bit since Percy is several inches taller.

"Hey, Declan," Annabeth smiles. She lifts her hand up in a quick wave, obviously still feeling awkward about her and Percy's little moment.

Declan's dark eyes then beamed as if only now realizing Annabeth and Percy had been speaking with one another, "You two gettin' along?" he asked excitedly.

Percy gave him an easy going half-smile and teases, "Yeah, I'd say she's pretty average." He quickly glances at Annabeth who's smiling at the comment, catching on about the teasing.

Declan glances at the two who was now looking at eachother again as if sharing an inside joke they'd known for years and grins knowingly at the sight.

He reaches into his pocket and brings out his wallet, only to release a wad of dollars and shoving it into Percy's face.

"Here," Declan places the money into Percy's right hand, "go get yourselves a good dinner and have a good talk about how good one another's steak is. I need my stars shining as brightly as they can."

Percy, now shocked and surprised at the abrupt request and immediately shakes his head in dismissal, "Declan — I can't — we can't — "

"Yeah," Annabeth automatically jumps in to save Percy from his useless rambling, "we really don't have to go out to dinner Declan. And anyways, you set up this great party and — "

"Oh shut up, you two numb-skulls," Declan scolds, making the two's eyes widen, "everyone here knows this party's absolute trash, so go."

"Declan — " Annabeth tried to protest again.

"We can't — " Percy tried to shove the money back to Declan.

But it was too late, the small man had already walked away, leaving Percy with a wad of money in his hands and Annabeth staring off at Declan as he trots away all too gleefully. The two were left dumbfounded.

I mean, they barely knew eachother — not even the other's last names! If Declan currently wanted Percy and Annabeth to feel like the most uncomfortable they've ever felt in their life — then he's winning at his own game.

Percy spins on his heels slightly to face Annabeth, "So, dinner?" He holds up the money limply and sighs, an exasperated look on his face.

"Well I don't know. We don't even know eachother. For example, what's my last — "

"Shoots! He's looking this way, hurry up and start walking towards the door!"

"Yeah, okay."
